Very unique flavor
One of my good friends travels to Spain frequently, and he told me about this ham. I decided to try a sample of it since it is quite expensive to get a large portion. This is packaged in a vacuum sealed wrap. It is sort of oily in feel. The smell is subtle with hints of nuts and honey. They are very thinly sliced pieces of ham with marbled meat. The taste is lightly sweet with hints of nuts, honey, and a touch of salt. The taste of the meat is good but not overpowering. For the price it gave me an opportunity to try an aged sample of ham from Spain. It is like no other ham I have tried anywhere else. I enjoyed it. I would definitely try it again.

Not my thing
The flavor is very rich to say the least. I was not ready for how potent the smell and flavor is and I did not like it myself but it was everything advertised and delivery was great as usual so I couldn’t take stars away based upon my own taste. Warning though for those wanting to try, this is a salt cured ham not cooked simply dried by salt curing so it is not going to taste like your traditional ham but instead has a very rich slightly metallic taste. The girlfriend liked it more than myself but she enjoys her steaks and such much more rare than myself but if you are interested in trying rare different foods and new complex flavor profiles, go for it! Hope this helps.

Missing the real Spanish jamón. This one will not disappoint l
This ham is a very decent product. Being native Spaniard and a frequent consumer of jamón, I have to admit that I was skeptical about this one and it did not disappoint. I’ll buy it again

Very Disappointed - Would Not Buy Again
Much to my dismay, the Jamon Iberico La Nava did not meet my expectations. Several of the pieces contained hard and tough areas around the edges and were salty, the overall texture was not tender, and it didn't have the rich flavor reminiscent of those from Spain. It didn't really taste that different than local supermarket prosciutto. Having just returned from Spain and trying Jamon Iberico for the first time, I was anxious to confirm I could still enjoy it and share the experience with loved ones in the USA. I sampled Jamon Iberico from various towns and villages around the country - purchasing both pre-sliced, vacuum sealed (just like my purchase from Amazon) and hand carved in front of me. The Jamon Iberico I ate in Spain was incredible/a game changer - rich flavor, tender, melt in your mouth texture, not too salty (and varied in taste from region to region) - nothing like Jamon Serrano and the prosciutto I have eaten in the USA - it was in a league of its own. Unfortunately, Jamon Iberico La Nava struck out.

Sabor y olor espectacular
Si quieres un jamón con sabor realmente ibérico y con aroma a campo y a jamón real este es tu producto. Impresionante sabor en las lonchas que se deshacen en tu boca. Realmente lo aconsejo . If you want a ham with a truly Iberian flavor and with the aroma of the countryside and real ham, this is your product. Impressive flavor in the slices that melt in your mouth. I really recommend it

Weird but really amazing taste.
When they say the pigs have only been fed acorns you can absolutely tell. The taste is honestly amazing. The fat, the smell and quality but I will say this is the first time I have tried iberico. If there is better which I am sure there has to be amazing.

Dry and little flavor
It didn't have grade mark on the package. I tried it once and realized that it should be green label or lower. Quite dry and not rich in flavor.
