Light weight
I have had one of these travel kettles for years and it’s been all over the world with me but when it eventually packed in I was delighted to find that they were still produced and had no hesitation in purchasing another. It’s ideal as a bedside kettle too.

Strange performance issue - Is it Safe?
Worrying performance issue.The first time I used it to clean and prepare it. [I confirm the voltage it set to 230v as directed in instructions] as it was heating up, before it actually boiled it switched itself OFF [ The Power Indicator RED light went out - On/Off switch remained in ON position].Then switched itself back ON after some seconds [RED light illuminated] and it continued to heat up.It did this a couple of times more before eventually the water boiled and the On/Off switch popped up.It has since done this intermittently ever since.IS this a fault? [If it is - It’s failing safe] - IS it safe to use? - Please advise Urgently.

Short cord
I bought this for an elderly relative who struggles to lift a full size kettle. The size and weight are ideal but it doesn’t come away from the base to pour and with the cord so short it’s probably not ideal for what I intended it for. Getting the lid off to refill is difficult and fiddly. Fine as a travel kettle for strong (in the hand) people but no good for what I needed.

used twice lid wont close propery and when you pour water goes everywhere, cant recommend
