【3rd Upgrade】 6.0Ah 40V Replacement Battery for Greenworks 40V Battery G-MAX 29472 29462 29252 20202 22262 25312 Cordless Power Tools Lithium-ion Battery

I'm always a bit reserved with third party parts, especially batteries that could potentially ruin a device if not to standards. However, this battery fit and worked well both in the charger and the mower without any disfunction. The battery casing looks well finished without flaw and appears as durable as the OEM battery, but for a significant price reduction as compared to OEM. Update: After a couple of uses, the battery works well, but does not last as long as the OEM 40v 5 Ah battery. The power ran out at about 80 percent completion in very similar conditions. The OEM was able to finish the task a week earlier and still have about 1.5 bar remaining on the meter. I would estimate that this battery was more equivalent to a 4 Ah than the advertised 6 Ah. However, it did again fit and power well. I still am satisfied having this as a backup battery.

Battery is 6 amp. It’s supposed to last longer than my original 5 amp battery, it does not even last half that time. Other issue is the battery shows that it still has half life/charge left in it when you check the battery. But the mover won’t start. I also tried with self propel since it take less power and it behaves the same way. Update: Seller was prompt on contacting me and was willing to fix the issue. They send me a new battery and that worked as expected. It holds charge and works as good as my original green works battery. It’s good to see a company stand by their product. Updating my rating from 1 start to 5 as the seller fixed the issue and the battery works as expected.

Larger and heavier than the original battery, but fits my charger and my tools nicely, and DEFINITELY lasts far longer than the original!

This battery is complete junk. It worked about 5 times in less than 12 months and then it just totally died. It will not recharge and when I press the power level button on the battery, none of the lights will light up. I have found that almost all of these Chinese no-name batteries end up doing this...they last long enough to get past the return date and then they die. I definitely do NOT recommend this product.

Seems like a great replacement and much lower cost than OEM. It charges fine and works fine. Seems very similar in power, usage, charge time to old one, but hard to say for sure. Close enough for me

I am updating my review to reflect that the seller gave me a full refund. I wish that the seller had their contact info on the selling page as it was difficult to contact them - I posted a negative review and was then contacted by them. Battery worked poorly after first charge. After the second charge in lasted less than a minute in my greenworks chainsaw. Very disappointed as the reviews for this battery were not that bad. I looked over the amazon listing on how to contact the seller but I saw no way of starting a warranty claim. Beware! I will update this review if I hear from the seller.

The battery works very well so far. It lasts just as long as the batteries that came with my lawnmower.

This battery lasted 4 cycles and then would not charge anymore. When it did work, the capacity will about half that of a 4 Ah Greenworks battery. I may have received a defective battery so have a look at other reviews to see if there is a trend or not, but for my money it was not a good purchase!
