I purchased the ABCCANOPY Photography Sandbags to add stability to my light stands and tripods, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality and performance. It sounds like overkill but, figuring out the correct method for using these they work great. Sand, too messy especially if they leak at a customer location. Water, you are guaranteed never to get a call back. Stones, only if you have excellent insurance to cover the back surgery. I found a solution, came back to Amazon and purchased industrial zip lock plastic bags, a vacuum sealer and after that, I am off to the races. When you consider one of your strobes, a softbox and goodness knows what else you are going to damage, sandbags are a no brainer. I used them at the base of lightstands, as a counter balance with large softboxes and to stabilize tripods with outdoors and trying to minimize camera shake on a critical shoot. Pay particular attention to the seams and the construction. These are not US manufactured so, quality control is not consistent. For the price, I would buy again.

These bags were perfect to keep my tripod steady in the wind for recording sports games. It was easy to set up and I choose to fill the plastic bags with sand as the weight. It came with clips as well which was convenient. Good quality material as well and should hold up. Would purchase again.

I use these for many things as a market vendor. I like the size of them and that they come with plastic bags to line each zippered pocket. I use pea gravel to fill each pocket and it all stays inside and neat. These are very well-made and the handles make it easy to move them around to wherever I need to secure something from wind or even to add a visual warning cue there is a tripping hazard like a thin stand leg sticking out.

Unfortunately, these just didn't work out for me and my needs. I was trying to weigh down a small trampoline to keep kids from moving it too far. It helped a bit for about a month. Both the plastic inner bag and the fabric pouch tore after getting caught on a trampoline hook. They were hard to fill and clip on.

So what is "The best possible compliment to a seller"? Easy you buy it again. That's what I did. I bought four of these sand bags. I loved the design. I loved the handles as I'm moving them around constantly. I love the clip/clasp thing. i love that they're double zipped. And they look cool. So I went and bought another four the next week. I've been using them for three months now and wonder how I ever got along without them.
