Kit is exactly as shown. The scar wax was easy to work with. I purchased because my daughter wants to be a zombie for Halloween with bloody wounds. I tested it on my younger daughter's hand and used liquid bandage to lay on the skin first and then to seal the wax. It didn't come with directions in the kit, but the product listing has some brief directions. I used youtube videos and figured it out.

Everything you need for perfectly professional results. The value is extraordinary and the kit is the perfect way to get Hollywood caliber results. Although I wish they had directions, you can always do a quick search on YouTube to figure out how to use the professional products included.

For the price it’s amazing! The white is very light that’s the only thing I didn’t like. The rest of the colors were great. Easy to mix to create more colors, it stayed on all Halloween night. It’s very light not chalky at all. I recommend putting on a thin layer of face cream before applying especially when used on children so it’s easier to remove without harsh rubbing. To remove the make up, face cream works great.

This is the first time using, turned out better than expected. Didn’t stick too well to the cheek area , probably because of mouth movement. The forehead turned out awesome.

I used this for Halloween to put bruising around my eye, and it looked very realistic.

I ordered this in mid-October for an early Halloween party and opened everything a day or so after it was delivered. Overall, the kit did what it promised and the wound looked very realistic (yay!). However, I had to take off two stars because (1) there were no instructions, so I didn't know what everything was or how to use it (I was able to look up techniques on YouTube, but a little guidance would have helped), and (2) the congealed blood REAKED. There is brownish staining around the lid and I'm wondering if it actually went bad, which was disappointing because it is an excellent color and texture! Unfortunately, by the time I figured out that the horrible mildew stench was the blood, it was already on my face and I was already three or four steps in, so I just had to hope no one could smell me. Again, most of this kit was awesome, and it came off super easily, but I wish the congealed blood hadn't smelled so awful. (I'm not sure why my photos won't upload.)

This product is great. The pigments go on smooth, and they have a realistic look. The purplish-blue spot on the upper left is actually Ben Nye’s F/X Cream Color in the shade FX-72 Black&Blue which I am happy this palette is a good dupe for; as seen in the color mixed in the upper right from the blue and purple in this photo.
