Clarks Women's Phenia Carnaby Boot

I sized up from my usual 9.5 to a 10, based on other reviews. That advice was spot on. 10 fit perfectly without looking oversized/clownish, as shoes can sometimes look when sizing up. I'm a comfort snob, and I'm pretty hard to please in that respect. I usually need shoes to feel good right away, and I have no patience for "breaking in" shoes. I have medium-wide feet that sometimes don't play well with normal-width shoes. When I first put these on, they felt like they could cause trouble after several hours of wear, with possible chafing and blisters at the pinkie toes. So I was a little torn--do I return them or take a chance? Well, they look amazing, so I decided to take a chance and wear them outside. I'm so pleased that I did! I have worn them for 4 straight hours of museum walking with no discomfort at all. I have no chafing at the top edges of the boot or at the heel. The laces help my feet feel secure and prevents the constant lifting of the heel that often happens with boots. The tan heel and bottom breaks up the look of the shoes, making them look refined and not too chunky or severe. The tan does blacken on the bottom from the street, but I don't mind. The rubber is super durable, and the heel height is perfect. No regrets with this shoe.

I purchased the grey suede and such a great color. My issue with these boots is the fit, as they are narrow in the toe box and across the top of the shoe. My normal size is an 8 1/2M, but because I have a bunion on one foot I purchase a 9 to allow for the extra comfort. So I indeed did purchase size 9, but I am returning them as they are far too narrow in consideration of the bunion. I have reordered a size 9 1/2 hoping that will work for me as the boots are lovely and the color gray, more of a taupe tone appears to go with everything. I will do a follow up on narrowness and fit.So I returned the 9 and purchased a 9 1/2 through Jet Shoes, a third party seller. These are perfect shoes now and I don't have to break them in. The color goes with everything. So if you have a medium width foot, the 9 fits like an 8 1/2 and the 9 1/2 fits like a 9. Just food for thought with these lovely boots.

9/10 on shoe quality. You can tell these are nice shoes. My only complaint is that the leather seemed a little worn/bald on the parts that were laying against the box. I would have ignored that and kept them if everything else was right.They fit perfectly and feel good on. They were true to size! The only other problem is that they are not a chestnut color like I imagined from the "Rust" picture on here. They are a very vibrant burnt orange. In other words, they DON'T look like a typical, classic brown-toned pair of leather shoes. I was wearing a burnt orange shirt, and the shoes were even brighter than the tee shirt. I wanted a classic, wear-with-anything shoe and these weren't it. A fantastic shoe. Currently on trend & functionally versatile. Wear for the office, walking about town or on a date. This shoe suits my arch problems: neither too high nor too low-it'll suit people who hate/can't wear high heels or like me walk everywhere. Nicely structured- not too tight-leather. Soft heel - no clomping or heavy banging- it has a wooden heel with rubber lining. Laces need double knot, as they keep coming un-done. Very comfortable heel.My only issue is the size chart, which is inaccurate:Size 10 US= 7.5 UK (not 8, as it says on size chart!)I am definitely a Uk 8 but sizes vary from company to company. Luckily these were ok & I can wear a thin sock with them so sizing may vary.Worth shopping for different sizes & keeping the right pair! Photos soon 🙋

I have another pair of these that I have nearly worn out. I ordered this pair to replace those. These are one of the most versatile and comfortable boots I have ever owned. I don't travel anywhere in cooler weather without taking these. You can wear them all day in comfort.The tops hit above my ankle just right - no rubbing or discomfort. I have a narrow foot and these fit very well. If you have a medium width foot, I think these would be too tight.

I can always depend on Clark's shoes 8.5 medium to fit me perfectly. This Phenia Carnaby boot has a bit of a narrower toe box, but because they are leather, I will wear them with some heavy socks doubled in the toe area and after a few hours of this, the leather will stretch a bit and they will be perfectly comfortable. I feel that if I went up a size they wouldn't fit as well throughout the rest of the foot, as I did that once previously and they ended up being to loose after several wears and just didn't have a proper fit. These Phenia Caraby boots are beautiful, very chic and fashion forward. Beautiful smooth satiny black leather. I plan to wear them with cuffed jeans as well as with a skater skirt.

I love these boots. I haven't even worn them out of the house yet but I love their style, comfort, and quality. I always buy Clarks as I have discovered they are the best support for my extremely high arches and foot pain. I normally wear a size 7.5 so I ordered an 8 as I saw the reviews say these run small. 8 was way too tight so I returned and got a 9. Those were way too big. Returned and got an 8.5 and they were just right.

I didn’t want to deal with the return process so I kept them, but these run a bit small. I have a hard time wearing these with thicker winter socks. I do get a lot of compliments when I wear these shoes. I might buy them in black I like the look of the shoe so much.

Felt a bit clunky the first day, but then I broke them in. Look and feel well made. They got a lot of compliments. My first pair of Clark's, and I am interested in trying more of the brand now. Sole is slippery on ice, but has great indoor grip.

They are such a suave pair. I am a 8.5 but sized up, reading earlier reviews. It would have been a snug fit in my original size but with insoles the 9 is good. So glad with the Brown pair I chose, the leather is supple and luxurious looking.No regrets! This Clarks bootie is a must have for work & a smart causal look.

A great shoe. Long lasting quality footwear. The tread is excellent, too -- no need for resoling.

I LOVE these shoes. I wear them almost every day. It goes well with both my casual and business casual style. Well worth it and super comfortable.

Not yet wear them, but true to size and stylish!
