Works great and easy to use.
I've built a few 3D printers from scratch and the options for 12864 displays can be bland... so it was a ths was a pleasant find. I got it running on klipper using an SKR1.3 mini by adding the following to the config file under the display section: lcd_type: uc1701 cs_pin: EXP1_3 a0_pin: EXP1_4 rst_pin: EXP1_5 contrast: 63 encoder_pins: ^EXP2_5, ^EXP2_3 click_pin: ^!EXP1_2 note that the cables in your particular setup may need to be reverse-plugged, so be prepared to pull off the plastic shell around the two plugs on this thing to allow reversing the polarized plug... which I did to mine. I just grabbed a needle nose plier and slowly pulled them off. Option 2 would be to remove the polarizing pin from the plug so it can be plugged in in reverse. Also, its interesting that the manual says this display can use the same config as the Fystec... but here is the kicker, I also bought a Fystec and I still can't get it to operate which is weird... that being said, I bought a second one of these for another printer of mine. Summary: its cheap... it works... it looks great... no complaints. Its a safe buy.

Works well on modified Ender 3
I sacrificed the stock display to another machine, so I needed a new display. I opted for this over the boring stock one. It has been working well. I had it on the stock 4.2.7 board, and it is now on a BTT SKR 1.4 Turbo. Perfectly compatible. There is a thing about these though. The connector is backwards. You have to pull the shield off of the PCB, and turn it around 180 degrees. It's mentioned in another review too. I guess MKS standard is opposite the BTT and Creality standard. Easy enough to fix with a pair of need nose pliers and a little pulling. It's not glued down, it's just pushed on.

Works great
I was a little nervous about getting this setup, because people's accounts of working with the MKS display seemed to be pretty all over the place. But the fears were unwarranted—it works fine. You will (very probably) need to cut the key off the back of one end of the ribbon cable, so that it can be installed backwards. That's it. That's all the trouble with the display. You'll need to uncomment/define the SDCARD_CONNECTION LCD feature in order to use the SD reader (I think it was in Configuration_Adv.h) just do a search for the line and you're set.

This thing is great. Inexpensive too.
I bought because I upgraded to a 32 bit board on my Artillery sidewinder and the stock touch screen wasn't compatible with my new firmware. That's what YouTube said anyway...The part is working great. MKS SGEN L v1.0 board. Compiling the custom firmware took me 3 days but I had never used Marlin before and most of that was making the new motherboard work with my printer and had nothing to to with this part or the vendor. I already bought another to use when I upgrade my ender 3. Thanks for reading.

Not for VORON - does not fit. Falsely Advertised as for Voron
This was listed as for Voron - NOT TRUE. It doesnt correctly fit the standart STL file design at all. The rotary knob is orientated too far to the right to work for thr Voron Design.

Works as plug and play
Ordered for voron 2.4 with mks monster 8 v1 motherboard and worked perfectly just plug exp1 to exp1 and exp2 to exp2 that is it.

Fantastic!
This controller is absolutely amazing. Easy to use. It is small but thats perfectly fine. It changes colors during different stages of the print which is AWESOME. I replaced my Sovol SV02 display with it so I could run the latest Marlin. Thank You!!

Nice little clicker
After an old display died this was cheap and an option so I lept. It is pretty for 1, and also I love the gentle clicker rather than the beeping speaker, I always disable or break off speakers on these displays, but the clicking this one makes it actually nice.
