Excellent Strings
The only guitar string I will ever buy.

My search is over!
This opinion is based on my small body guitars, a Gibson LG-3 and Eastman E15-SS, w/ Adirondack top, Rosewood back/sides and a 24-3/4" scale lengths.. I flatpick, fingerstyle and light strum on these without any issues. My usual strings are D'Addario EJ16, But I don't like the way they sound at first. Too bright, then perfect after a few days of playing them in.This is the string I settled on after bouncing around from Martin, Elixir, Ernie Ball etc.... Basically, I've been searching for a couple years for strings that match this guitar and I'v finally found them. These EXP16, are amazing right out of the pack. The strings are easier on my fingers and the squeaking from slides is less pronounced. The only thing I'd note, is that they are a little sticky when bending, but it's not a deal breaker. Again, I can't believe how loud and clear my little guitar is with these on it. I love this (Eastman) guitar a lot, and this made me appreciate just what a special guitar it is. I mean, this thing is already a little boom box, but with these strings it got even louder and clearer. I could't imagine getting a better sound than what I've got going with these strings. We'll have to wait and see how long they last, but if my experience with this manufacturer is any indicator, I won't be disappointed.

These strings are sick! I think I'm in love with them!
I've always used Martin strings on all my acoustic guitars, but when I took one of my guitars in for a set up and neck adjustment, they replaced my strings with these. That same day, I bought a new Takamine G72 on which these strings are standard. I can't believe I've been playing guitar for over 40 years and I've never used these strings until now. They're incredible! I feel like I won't use anything but these on all my acoustics. I've been using Martin silk and steel strings on my 12-string for over 30 years, and when I change them next, I'll use the appropriate D'Addario strings. They sound so good and hold their tune well. They feel good too. The response from them is insane! I bought these from Amazon because they have a good price for them and I wanted an extra set to put in my Takamine case. Once I start playing again more regularly, I'll probably go for Amazon's subscription service for these. I highly recommend these strings.

Solid Strings, Great Sound, Long Lasting
These are solid strings for acoustic guitar. They have a great sound and I prefer the Phosphor Bronze over the 80/20 strings. I've been a fan of D'Addario company for awhile now. I used to play strictly D'Addario strings when I started playing guitar, then I tried every string company I could find including some small companies that let you choose custom sizes and sets where every string is hand wound. Every time, I come back to D'Addario because they make just excellent products. I will say, however, that for acoustic guitars, it is a very close race between D'Addario Coated Phosphor Bronze and Elixir Nanowebs. They are both excellent strings BUT I think I prefer Elixir a little more. All that being said, I used these strings to fix up my Father In Law's guitar. Needed a new saddle, bridge pins, and a few other things. I used these strings once I got it pieced back together and the guitar sounded fantastic! It's been a few months since then and the strings are still in good shape, and they still give off a great tone.

My Favorite Coated String
These are easily the best coated strings I've tried. They last longer and sound better than the Fender strings, and are cheaper too. They don't feel like a coated string, but they last even longer than the Elixir Strings Acoustic Phosphor Bronze Strings NANOWEB Coating, 6-String, Medium that were my previous choice. I'm not sure if they treat the plain strings as well, but corrosion has never been a problem for me with these strings. They tend to last me about 3-4 months with playing once every 2 weeks or so but several hours at a time. My Alvarez doesn't sound bad with any strings, but it sounds better with these than the others I've tried. I've had people who play vintage Martins ask if my guitar was for sale. When I had the elixers on it, they would just ask what kind of guitar it was, so take that as you will. For me, that's enough to keep playing these strings.

Love these strings
Love these strings. I gig about 6 hours a week on my acoustic, sometimes getting sweaty when I play. These strings hold up through the moisture because of the coating, even when I forget to wipe them down at the end of the gig. I've gone for as long as 6 months with the same strings on and they still sounded decent towards the end. They do lose their brightness as time goes by but most strings do as well, uncoated strings do much faster. I find these strings to have a very natural, bright and simultaneous warm tone. They sound fantastic plugged in, not just acoustically. Highly recommended.

My favorite strings by far.
These are my favorite strings by far. I have tried several other coated strings, including the best selling brand, and these are the best. They feel very natural and smooth, so much that you almost can't tell they are coated strings. The coating does extend the life of the strings by a lot, making them well worth the extra few bucks. The sound is perfectly balanced and it does not take long at all to break in the sweet tone you are looking for. I have been using these strings exclusively on my Taylor for about 5 years and have no need to try other strings. These are perfect for me and Subscribe and Save is an awesome way to get these as often as you need them and save even more cash. Give them a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Don't get much better
One doesn't get much better than D'Addario strings. In my opinion they're twice as clear as Martin strings and the EXPs just last forever. I like the standard Phosphor Bronze just as well and use those as a less-expensive alternative. I certainly recommend D'Addario nylon strings on classical guitars. I've heard no other string that has the crisp, clean, rich sound of this brand of strings. I've used them for years and once in a while give in to the temptation to try another brand... but always come back to this one. Different diameter strings will sound significantly different, depending on the guitar you use. I prefer this mid-range string set for overall depth of sound and mellow beauty of tone. Any lighter and the guitar sounds "tinny", any heavier and I fear strings putting undue stress on the neck. These are "just right".

Sehr gute Saiten

Best strings got better
I have always used this make, but never the coated type. My hands are just so dry my stings last ages (lucky huh?). But I recently bought an old ovation balladeer for a daily use guitar knowing the kids would also pick it up. They both have corrosive hands and their own guitar strings often feel dire. Like they've gone rusty. So I decided to try these. Wow, fantastic tone and sustain and they hold tune for weeks. It also made me realise that my other guitar needs a fresh set. It is a real no brainier to get another set of these. I have experimented with many types over the years but these certainly are some of the best yet. So far so good. No rust no gunky strings. No arguments about who played my guitar. Bonus!

Sonido brillante, bajos claros

Best Strings for me.
My favorite strings. Warm tone, nice bottom end, crisp top end and feel smooth. Only thing I find with these strings (and most acoustic strings) is that I like them way better once I break them in well. I always give them a good stretch and play hard, stretch again, play hard etc. I find they start to really hit that sweet spot after two or three days of playing. I normally play about 4 hours or so a day, so let's say after 8-12 hours of playing they sound perfect. Less sibilant top end and more precise sounding.
