KEMIMOTO Heated Vest for Men, Warming Vest, Heated Hunting Vest, BATTERY NOT INCLUDED, Electric Heated Vest

I bought this for Hunting in Wisconsin. The product appears like it will work well for that. I really like the flat battery as opposed to higher priced brands that use your power tool batteries on. I fully charged the battery before any use. It was 31 degrees outside when I tested it. I set the heat to medium and within 1 minute the vest was clearly warming up noticeably. I tested different heat settings and they worked great. I will likely only use the low setting as it gives off plenty of heat. I ordered a large, which is my normal size (5'8" 180 lbs) and it fit well. Does not leave a ton of room for a sweatshirt underneath--but I will just put a sweatshirt over the top instead, which will give better heat retention anyway. I would certainly recommend this vest.

This vest was a disappointment from the time it arrived. The pockets are far too small to be usable for man hands. There is no separate battery pocket, so you have to use one small pocket for the battery. Then where do you put your left hand?? If you put a battery in the pocket, the flap will not close, so when you bend over, the battery wants to fall out. There needs to be a separate battery pocket with a closure of some kind. There also needs to be slash pockets on both sides for the hands!!VERY POOR DESIGN!!The zipper is left handed so zipping up is very awkward!! The heating pads are about 2" x 3" and don't do much heating except in those small concentrated areas. They say to order your normal size. . . Well, mine is a large. The vest i got was at least an XL or maybe even fit like a XXL. When there is that much looseness in the fit, the heating pads don't contact the body so the heat just escapes out, rendering the vest about worthless.This was promptly returned.

Bought a size small I was hoping this would keep me warm in the winter so I can ride motorcycles and it worked perfectly I used an energizer 20k mah battery pack from Best Buy it fit perfectly in the pocket it last me 6 hours on high and the battery pack still had 75% power left I would definitely recommend I am a real reviewer no gimmicks from nyc

First off when I viewed this item to purchase it did not say anything about not having a battery so once given as a gift found no battery; contacted seller to be told battery not included…great, so I spend another $23 for a battery pack and waited for that to arrive only to discover that the vest barely gets warm at all!! No way in the world this thing is gonna keep anybody warm while hunting in super cold weather. Will be returning.Before submitting this review I went in and looked at a few lower rating and found another review that stated they did not see “battery needed”either… hmmm.

I rated this vest 4 stars. Here are the pros and cons. I liked he material. Some kind smooth outer material is very attractive and I expect is stain and water resistant. Inner fabric is a nice plush velvet vice the foil-like material in other vests. The elements heat well and provide good comfort. Used it today in 15 def F weather in and out of the van dropping kids at school with only half battery and at various times had it on all the settings. The battery (bought separately) lasted about an hour. When it was done the vest (under a coat) held the heat very well. I would like to see deeper pockets by at least 1 additional inch. Current pocket fits my battery and my Std IPhone 12 but the pocket flaps stick out like wings. Velcro closers on the pocket flaps would keep the vest looking fit and trim. Flaps sticking out make you look disheveled and fat. Under a jacket or coat that wouldn’t matter but Velcro closures would keep battery and phone from falling out of the pockets when you bend over. My wife tried it but did not get good results probably because it was easily 2 sizes too large for her. I am 6ft 3in and 220 pounds and got an XL that fits loosely. Since the material has some stretch to in I could probably fit snuggly in a large size. There are no hand pockets and that would be nice. Having battery pocket on the outside of the vest is a good design choice. The previous vest I returned had the battery pocket on the inside and was behind the heating element which meant that the warmest part of the whole vest was the battery and it was frankly scarey-hot after about 1 hour use. I would beware of any vest with inner battery pockets. Bottom line, going to keep this vest but will probably re-gift it to Grandma and get myself one that is tighter fitting and has a neck element.

Second update!I ordered one for my live and she loves it to. Fits perfect as advertised! Now we are ordering for our three kids!! This is the perfect heated vest for outdoor activities in cold climates! Kids can’t wait to get theirs! I’d give it TEN STARS IF THAT WAS A THING!UPDATEDThe manufacture contacted me with my concerns of the product. They have updated their product and the new one is AMAZING! I received the new one, it has pockets on each side. The heat settings are updated and work perfectly plus they have added a hood with separate heat control. PLUS! It’s still super comfy. I highly recommend this seller!!Does not feel like it warms up much at all. No pockets on the side. Battery pouch location is poor. Will be returning this

I love this vest! After bi-lateral Mastectomy about 10 years ago, I am always cold in winter. The implants do not insulate and get cold like two bowls of jello....My husband purchased this for me for Christmas and I wear it often. I can make it warmer as I need it and cool it down when I think it's too warm. I'm glad it warms my back because I cannot feel the warming zones on my chest. We are able to turn down the temps in the house, Here it gets below 0 degrees outside in January.
