I want to use the stand for a 5 tier wedding cake. How much weight can the stand hold?

I have this stand, I love it. It is very sturdy and has held a 5 Tier cake. As far as weight... I don't have an answer for you. But the stand is a quality stand I would think I could hold quite a bit of weight.

Purchased the silver three tier and would like to purchase a matching cake stand. What is the difference between silver and antique silver cake stand?
