Texture and taste is amazing
Let me start off that I usually get the regular Whey Protein powder from this brand. It's the best ingredients I've been able to find on the market, though I know there' one other brand that has three simple ingredients. But anyway, clean protein powder. They raised the price to the other stuff I normally got by upwards to 50%, making it $129.99 for a 5lb container. That's way out of my comfortability of spending for protein powder. So I browsed and saw that they had this Casein protein for what the price used to be for their Whey version of $79.99 and only 1lb less. To me, that was a no brainer. Now I have to say, I mix this with instant coffee, two servings of peanut butter fit, and use whole milk. Wow. This has a way better texture than the Whey version, and a lot more creamier. For me it mixed VERY well, which should be obvious since the descriptor I gave was creamy. The reason this is important is from what you'll see in other reviews - it's a mixed bag. So I gave you how I make mine and why the outcome was the way it is. It's probably the best texture I've had from Levels period. The flavor is also very good. Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised with this option. Had they not increased the price HEAVILY for their Whey option, I would have never tried this choice out. Good stuff. If you don't know Casein, it's a slower releasing protein, so you'll stay fuller longer. Honestly, I'd prefer this by a long shot, especially during work days.

Great Protein.
Levels Protein Powder tastes great, mixes easily, and doesn't have the chalky texture that many protein powders do. I love that it's made with clean, simple ingredients. I also use the collagen powder and highly recommend it. Since adding both products to my daily routine, I've noticed a real difference in my hair, skin, and nails. If you're looking for high-quality supplements with clean ingredients and great taste, Levels is an excellent choice!

This is great cuts cost for 2 supplements
Amazing supplement. I love that serving size is 1 scoop. Super easy! The texture is a little grainy with just water but its a light collagen flavor with chocolate but i enjoyed it. Felt like my body was really REALLY nourisehd on a different level than what plant proteins had been not helping with muscle recovery much. This stuff AAAA+ muscles stopped being so sore and almost instantly my brain was happy.

Great protein Powder
I love Levels protein. This is my first time purchasing their casien.protein. I purchased the chocolate flavor and it tastes great with great ingredients. As another reviewer stated it is a little gritty in a shaker cup, but I don't mind it. I wish there were more flavors than chocolate and vanilla. Will purchase again.

Good
Taste wise, it is not the best I had. The flavor is somehow plain, but it was expected from the limited list of ingredients. It makes sense for me to give up a bit of the sweetness from most of protein shakes for a (theoretically) more healthy meal. If taste is a must for you, tough, maybe this one is not the right choice.

Meets requirements, a bit chalky
This product tastes fine but it is a bit chalky. I've shaken it, let it sit, shaken more and still chalky but! It has the nutrients I am seeking and need so I can deal with it. It does give me some bloat as milk has done that to me all my adult life but it's not horrible, I drink at night and it dissipates. Whether or not I purchase again I'm uncertain. I've only been using it about a week and I want to see if this actually does help with my muscle gain and calorie burn.

This seems to work really well for me-- improved sleep and good training numbers
Heavy protein powder user here, of all types (whey, casein, pea, rice, beef, etc.)-- this product works really well for night protein use (casein is a slow release protein) or in meal replacements to stay full longer during the day. It is clean with minimal ingredients, and Levels does a good job with sourcing and testing-- they are one of the few brands I trust. The chocolate flavor is mild and not super sweet... if you prefer plain protein powders or just like less sugar/ sweetness/ flavoring, this will be a good fit for you. If you like stronger flavors, then I would choose the Vanilla flaover which is much sweeter and stronger tasting compared to the chocolate. This is one of the easiest mixing casein powders I have used. That said, casein doesn't typically mix easily, so if you like smooth drinks then use a blender or frother wand to mix. I primarily drink in plain water or milk, but it would work well as a shake also. My devices are reported improved deep sleep over the last few weeks since I started using this protein, with no other changes to training/ schedule/ work/ stress. And so far training has been good as well. Will keep using this and will report back if anything changes.
