Use with Arduino IDE 1.8, 2.3 doesn't work.
None of these single board ATtiny programmers are recognized by Arduino IDE 2.3. Follow the instructions of the top review here but use IDE 1.8 or you will have a bad time. This programmer works great for me.

Worked fine from linux shell

Not recognized by computer.
Not recognized by up-to-date Mac. Does not show up in /dev directory like all other USB devices do. No documentation provided with product. No information available on the Amazon product page. Sometimes a little blue LED on the product turns on when I plug it in. Other times, the light does not turn on. Mac terminal dmesg utility reports : "AppleUSBHostPort::enumerateDeviceComplete_block_invoke' when I plug it in to the USB port. Something is not right here. Returning it for a refund.

Windows driver didn't work
The default Windows 10 driver doesn't work. I had to go searching for a decent driver. Buy the version from the Sparkfun vendor instead. They had the correct driver.

Not recognized by arduino IDE.. board manager
arduino IDE.. board manager has nothing that supports this that I could find... I tossed them all..
