I'm a single mother on a budget. So I really didn't want to spend a whole lot. My son wanted to be the devil this year so, I tried to coordinate my outfit to his tuxedo the best I could. I'm 5'5, about 180lbs, and I have a D cup size. My biggest fear was being too chesty. (It's not a stretchy material.) Even with a cup bra on, this dress fit comfortably with just enough room to feel comfortable. I literally could wear this all day every day. It comes with the corset strings, I just haven't put them in yet.

I purchased this to wear for Halloween as part of a creepy lady / sorceress / witch-type costume. It was excellent for that purpose. The materal is a high-quality, thick synthetic one which kept me warm in 40 deg temps on Halloween night. I am 5'0 tall and this dress was quite long on me. I had it hemmed and also had the sleeves shortened and taken in around the armpit area because it was too big. I got the XXL because I have a larger bust. I probably could have gotten the XL, but it would have been snug. Overall, I'm very happy with this gown and look forward to many years of use.

I had to make adjustments because it was tight in my chest area. I am 5 ft 138 lbs and a size 34DD for bra size and normally a size 2 in pants. I chose a size 4 in dress hoping it would be happy medium. Totally wrong. The dress does not have any stretch in the material. Luckily, we cut it up and gave my chest more room to breathe by v-shaping the front, made a cut on the back of the dress to give my back room to breathe too BUT we made the dress look more sexier and appealing. Lol. Besides the fit- it was still a beautiful costume at the price paid, well worth the price. Just make sure you are prepared to make any adjustments. I dressed up as Rowena Ravenclaw- one of the original founders of Hogwarts from Harry Potter for Halloween.

I wish the sizing information had been accurate.I purchased this for a special event but could not use it because it was too small, even though I first ordered an XL and then even an XXL thereafter, thinking that would help. The XXL was only about an inch larger in the problem spot.I ordinarily wear a size large when items are labeled and sized correctly.

This dress is so pretty, I choose the black dress with red detail for a vampire look! I am 5’2 175 pounds with a C-D cup. Thank goodness I followed the reviews advise and sized up!! I am usually a medium or large, but ordered a 2XL and it fits just about right on the bust area!The waist is a bit loose but I can fix that with the corset ties.Long but I will alter it.Overall a good quality dress, not see through, a bit dense but comfortable and mom approved for the ones that wanna dress up but not have to tug at your costume every 5 minutes but still look cute! Just size up.

I can't say enough how amazing this is. I bought it for a Halloween costume, (black with red) and the party theme is transylvania so this will be a hit. Party is oct 29 2022, I'm writing this review 2 weeks prior so I'm not sure how it will be for the party. The 5 stars is because it's made SO CRAZY FREAKING WELL. It's not a flimsy thin dress like many you see, but rather a very good material, fits better than expected, and really is just awesome. It's flattering, so if I ever go to a renaissance fair or even a gothic wedding, it's perfect.I'm 41, female, 5"6 and 220lbs. My parents, who are normally very judgmental, both called this stunning. I can't wait to wear it to the party. I am pairing it with a black and red wig and a flower tiara.If ever you need a dress for Halloween, midevil fairs or themed weddings, these are perfect. Oh, and crazy comfortable and not to heavy, so can wear all night.If I ever get married and need a dress, I'll buy this style of dress in white. I love it that much.I have not been paid or asked to review this item, this is all my legit feelings towards the dress.
