Fantastic Compressor
I have always used Kobalt products and they always make great stuff. When the compressor arrived at home, I tested it and found it very capable! I have inflated beach balls, rafts, bicycle tires, and car tires with no issue! The construction is top-notch and looks futuristic! Its 4 handles are very handy in grabbing it on the go. It's also very lightweight. Its easy-to-use digital display is very nice and handy, you can set pressures quickly and it's easy to read. I keep it in the back of my car for when it is needed like for flat tires and trips where I would need a compressor. I love it. Buy it, it's worth it.

A Great Piece of Gear
I purchased this little gem a few years back, and love the compactness, the efficient design, and the user friendly features which take the guesswork out of the right pressure to dial up. You can use this to inflate a football, or a large Jeep tire. I liked it so much that I bought one as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I take this on any long trip I go on so that I never have to worry about underinflated tires while the vehicle sits overnight in the cold. Great product.

The best tire inflator to carry with your car
I purchased this tire inflator online at Amazon. Iโve been looking for a compressor that had an automatic tire pressure shutoff, and also able to power it from AC as well as 12V DC from the vans starter battery. The operation was simple, I payed out the extension chord from my garage AC outlet to the tire I wanted to fill and plugged it in. Plugged in the compressor and the display lit up showing 0.0 psi. Attached the air line to the tire pressure showed. I set the pressure on the display to what I wanted and taped start. The tire was about 12 pounds under what I wanted and it gained 1/2 psi every 3 seconds. I checked the pressure with a gauge and it was within 1 psi. Iโm very happy with that and this compressor is every bit as good as what they have at gas stations. My only con would be that the plastic covers that inclose the air hose and the DC electric wonโt snap closed. Also, the gauge of the DC power chord to me doesnโt seem to be heavy enough thou I donโt plan to use it that way unless I have to.

Tire inflator
The first product that was delivered was broken. I returned it and had the replacement in about a week. This tire inflator is lightweight and powerful for bicycle tires and a wheelbarrow tire. Havenโt tried it on a vehicle yet but it did a bicycle tire from 0 to 55 lbs in 7 seconds. I like that it uses both dc and ac current but the ac power cord is so short you will need an extension cord. The device also has a LED light which is not very powerful and is positioned on the side facing away from the tire you are inflating. Not really helpful. I am satisfied with this product and the price.

The best of this type of tire inflator
I ordered another brand with high reviews too, but this one works better. I personally have used a hand pump for 20 years, which has never failed and given me some good exercise, but my daughter doesn't have enough weight to use it. She has no problem using this. I like that it is a normal flip connection versus the screw-on ones. Much faster. Keep it in the car and you never have to find a gas station with a working compressor. The 120V cord is probably nice too, but so far we only use the 12v cigarette lighter. I'm sure there would be a problem pumping up large truck tires, but for passenger car tires it is perfect!

Must have for anyone that owns a car
I have 2 of these now; set the air pressure you want & it shuts off on its own. run off of 110vac or car lighter plug. has attachments for inflatable stuff too

Save Yourself the Stress, Look Elsewhere
Purchasing this compressor has been the single most difficult Amazon order I've ever had. It was purchased on April 12th, used twice, and completely died by May 21st. The only thing worse than having a new item fail within weeks of purchase was that the return was even more frustrating. May 21st is just past Amazon's 30-day return window. However, per Amazon's website, if a manufacturer's warranty covers the item, Amazon will honor it. The Kobalt compressor has a 1-year warranty. I first attempted to initiate a return via the Amazon app. Nope! The return window had closed. I then phoned customer service. Agent #1 saw the issue and agreed to a refund. Great! I ask him for a QR code to send the compressor back. He said no, since it no longer worked, I could keep it. Thankfully, I didn't toss the compressor out then, because a month later, the refund hadn't appeared. In early July, I called customer service again to explain the situation. Agent #2 said they'll make a "one-time exception" and process a return on the item even though it's outside the 30-day return limit (completely ignoring the 1-year warranty coverage from Kobalt). Fine, I'm not going to argue the details. I returned the compressor, and shortly thereafter, I received a text saying my refund had been processed. EXCEPT! It's for $15.70 less than what I originally paid for the compressor. I call customer service for a third time, and I'm told that the $15.70 is a "restocking fee." A restocking fee for an item that worked 2 times over 6 weeks and then completely died?! A restocking fee that customer service agent #2 never mentioned? And even after I explained why I was returning the compressor, Amazon agent #3 asked me 2 more times to explain why I needed to return the item - it died... it's no longer functioning. I finally got an Amazon credit for the restocking fee, but no one should have to work this hard to get a refund on a manufacturer warrantied compressor that died after 2 uses. Ridiculous! If you must purchase this compressor and have a Lowe's near you, purchase it in-store. The compressor doesn't appear to have a great track record on reliability and taking it back to Lowe's has got to be easier than dealing with it through Amazon.

Great product
Great product. I've used it a couple of times with no issues. I love how everything has its own spot for storage of the cord and fittings. Worth owning.
