Spear and Jackson Bypass Secateurs and Floral Snips Set (Twin Set)

I dont get this,Spear and Jackson used to be UKit would last for YEARS!This was brought in June - by August broken!Another Garden Fork, was brought in April by May and the centre finger snapped OFF ???Was this from Sheffield - yes or no?My original had lasted for 7 years!???? Whats going on ????Now it all seems to be CHINA products ???Can we still buy in theGREAT BRITAIN!All like theGreat Aukdied in 1840 !like a Do-Do!

The price was right, but the quality was sub-par. I expect more from Spear and Jackson. The plastic was flimsy and the latches were wobbly. The small scissors were what I wanted and they're okay. Returning them would be more hassle than just keeping them and using them on my orchids. Next time I'll think twice before buying Spear and Jackson.

These are without a doubt the best secetaurs I have ever use they are so sharp you could skin a crocodile and the small ones are great for awkward weeds when you dont want to damage other plants like my beuatiful acaia tree i spent 3 hour going around it removing ivy and brambles. They will last forever and i spoke to a friend who said he can sharpen them if they dull for £1. An excellent quality PAIR of tools.

Bought these on Black Friday as I thought my wife would like the snippers for deadheading. However, shortly after using these, the plastic catch on the snippers broke so they can't be closed. The secateurs are ok, at least the catch is metal.I would have sent them back but we've unpacked them, used them and I really can't be bothered. So, if you want a cheap and cheerful pair of secateurs and snippers that won't close, these are for you.

The normal secateurs are not the best quality but does as a stand in pair. The little pair however are brilliant for de heading little plants or trimming a bunch of flowers indoors
