Review: Okay Air Filter for the Car - Product works as intended. No good mounting spots in my 2003 Ford F350. I wish the power button was accessible if seat mounted. Headrest belt is not long enough for the style of headrest on the bench. It's quiet. You won't hear it over the road noise unless your car is completely soundproofed.
Review: Good car air purifier, though a little bulky - This does the job as well as any other compact air purifier. For use in a vehicle it is difficult to find a good location, however. The velcro strap can go around a headrest or center console, which I thought would be a good solution, but I couldn't find a place I liked. It does have velcro straps to mount it to carpeting, so I placed it on the floor behind the driver seat. Since I rarely have passengers in the rear seat, that's an OK spot. I was a little disappointed that the item was not "new" when I got it, but aside from someone already incorrectly applying one of the velcro strips right in the center of the bottom, it seemed like it hadn't been used, so I tried it out and ended up keeping it. The place they put the velcro makes it hard to use the mounting strap, though, so that stinks. The cord is plenty long, so it can reach the 12v "cigarette lighter" type sockets from basically anywhere in the vehicle. It would be nice if they'd used USB instead, but I'm not sure of the power demands vs the USB socket output in the vehicle, so maybe it wasn't an option. Overall it is a good product and I chose it over some cup holder types because I didn't want to dedicate a cup holder to it and, if all of them are needed, I wouldn't have an alternate location.
