It seems the Alienware doesn’t like memory faster than 2667mz. It’s 3200. I took out the 8g 2400 and put the 16g in its place. No go. So I put the 8g back in dimm1 and put the 16g in dimm2 and it worked. But because I’m combing 2400 with 3200 it dumbs down to 2400. Oh well now I have 24g at 2400 instead of 16g at 3200.
