Right Shoulder & Side Access Post Surgery & Rehab Unisex Snap Shirt - Grey

I bought this shirt for my Mom to wear after breaking her arm, with her arm required to remain stationary in a sling. It was PERFECT. We were able to get the shirt on without disturbing the sling and it looks like a "regular" shirt instead of a specialty shirt. She typically wears a size Medium in Women's clothing, and I ordered this in a Medium, as well. It is long and a little oversized on her, but not super noticeable. I think a size small in this would have been uncomfortable given the circumstances; it was nice to have the extra room for getting it on and for added comfort while wearing.

This shirt is well made, heavier fabric. The snaps lay flat and unless you are looking right at the neckline where the snaps come together, you don't even notice they are there. Easy to get on and off post shoulder surgery and really nice for physical therapist to access the area for massage, manipulation, applying/removing stem pads, etc. I bought 3 or 4 different shirts to have ready, and this one is by far the best quality and least obvious - wish I had just bought a couple more of this and skipped the others (the others have snaps futher apart and gap, fabric is like scrubs).

Oh my goodness! I cannot brag enough about this shirt!! I had shoulder surgery and this shirt was a huge help. It was just a tad bigger than I anticipated which was perfect due to my bandages. I took it with me when I had the surgery. The nurses in recovery put it on me easily without fear of undoing any of the work my surgeon had performed before I woke up. It was comfy and lightweight. I worried about being uncomfortable from all the snaps. But I honestly never felt them. Wore it to each of my post-op appointments which made having to put on one of those gowns non-existent! My surgeon is part of a huge orthopedic group. He fell in love with it as much as I did. Made my exams and stitch removal a cinch. In fact, I gave him the package slip that shows the shirt with all the info about it and now EVERY doctor in the group who specializes in shoulders recommends it to their patients! Next to the surgery to improve my health, purchasing this shirt was the best thing I did for my recovery!

Just received this shirt yesterday and noticed loose threads hanging on it in multiple places. On closer inspection, I see one area of the hem was missed. Obviously the quality control is not good as this was very easy to see, but other than that I think the shirt is okay. The fabric is heavier than I expected, but that probably won't be an issue for me. I expect there will be more problems with the hem when I wash the shirt, so I don't know how long this one will last.

Much more comfortable and cool than the sling from the hospital. I wore it for about three weeks and the Velcro/ stitching was starting to wear out, hence 4 stars.

I had bought this for my shoulder surgery mainly for my post op so I didn't have to take my shirt off for the doctors apt. I loved it. Very easy to get on, I would just recommend someone to help you the first time cause it can be alittle confusing after you unbutton everything. I ended up going back and buying another one! Overall: comfort is great, and easy to wear. There are alot of buttons but someone would be helping you.

My husband has a perma- catheter on his right side for dialysis - this is perfect to be access it. Dialysis nurses love it. The quality of the material is really good - not thin. He wears a 3x tall - bought a 3x fits great. Washed well. Did not put in dryer, hung dry. Snaps go down the whole side for those that need that.

I bought it thinking it would help me out shirts on easier by myself after surgery. It worked great the way it's designed; however it's not great to try to put on by yourself.
