Great portable stereo
This is so nice to have. I can play old tapes and new music through Bluetooth. I have ordered the auxiliary cable to connect my phone to it and see what else I can do with it. The sound is good but not like a full sized stereo. It's not as solid feeling as I remember in older boom boxes but it seems to be good quality. Not terribly heavy but portable enough and lighter than older types and yet it does much more.

Satisfying retro flashback
This product is giving me all the nostalgic feels I was looking for. The cassette tape works great, old school dial radio with antenna is so cool. Bluetooth works great. I can use batteries if I want to take it to the beach. The cord is a good length. Its good quality. The sound isn't super awesome, like what you might be used to with today's technology, but its still good for an old school boom box. I would recommend this if you are looking for a reliable throwback to the 90's.

Impressive sound
Just received this today and although I haven’t tried everything I’m impressed. I’ve been looking for a vintage boom box but they’re all expensive or broken or just don’t sound very good. Although having a vintage box would be more ideal I like the idea of having something new to play my tapes. The radio sounds really good and I never got the volume over half way in our kitchen. The tape player sounds great too. The sound may vary from cassette to cassette due to degradation over time or the way it was stored. The first tape I tried was one I dug out of a 50 cent box with no case, an old Fleetwood Mac tape. It sounded awesome. I doubt I’ll use the card reader much. I’ll try and probably use the Bluetooth but I’m excited to line in digital audio and record on a cassette for that vintage feel. For $100 my search for a boom box is over. I’ll update if anything changes.*Update: I have decided to buy a vintage box but this still has a place as I’m expanding my cassette collection. It’s my go to tape reminder too as my two older players can’t rewind or finish the job. Still sounds great!

Looks the part, but Meh-box
Well, it looks like an old school boom box. It sounds ok, the full range speakers are not bad, and the magnets are fairly large as compared to some original units I have serviced. I attached some pictures of the insides for the curious to see if there are real tweeters in there, and how it's put together. This is not a full technical review; I just wanted an old school looking radio as a bit of nostalgia. I included a short video clip to provide an example of the sound and to see the meters in action. I did not try the tape section as I tossed all of my cassettes years ago. The humidity in the south ruined cases of them. I did try the USB, FM Radio, and Bluetooth which all work fine. I mainly will be using the FM Radio and Bluetooth functions. The Bluetooth connection went quick with no problems.(-)• No Tape Counter• No Backlights• No Tape Window Mirror• No Tweeters• Radio Tuning Knob is Sloppy• Only 1 Microphone• Must be played at a LOUD volume to see VU meters/Level LED's work(+)• Looks Awesome• Sounds Good• Works as Advertised• Has Bass/Treble Knobs and Bass Boost Switch• Has some weight, does not 'feel' too cheap• Bluetooth, USB/SD/Aux Inputs• Portable if loaded with 6 D CellsI may add some piezo tweeters and LED backlights for something to do later.Dec/19/2020 11:48 }RK{Update:I purchased some Maxell UR 90 Type I (Normal) blank cassettes for these tests.Just playing the blank tape with no music recorded has a lot of background hiss, and reveals itself during blanks in the recorded music. I do not have any pre-recorded music tapes to try.(+)Recording from all sources (except internal Mic) is in stereo.Recording from the Radio sounds OK.Auto stop for Recording and Playback works.(-)No Auto stop on Fast Forward or Rewind.Fast Forward or Rewind seems to be a bit slow, but works.Recording from Bluetooth has A LOT of background noise along with the hiss.Recording from USB sounds OK but the high end seems to be gone, sounds muddled.I did not try the SD Card slot, but my guess is it uses the same circuitry as the USB.Summary:Good for Radio, Bluetooth, USB, and looks. Not recommended for recording on Type-I (Normal) tapes.Cheers!
