I was tired of playing the lottery for good pair vs bad pair when I rented skates at the rink so I decided to buy these skates for myself. They're very tight and stiff out of the box and fit perfectly. The sizing chart provided on the purchase page was easy to follow and accurately got me the size I needed. Blades come pre-sharpened and ready to go. The laces are strong and stay tight but don't eat into your hands when you're trying to lace them up.I highly recommended these as a first pair of skates.

Our daughter asked for pink ice skates with purple laces. (She is very detailed)We order these as they were the only ones we could find that were pink and had laces instead of the "one-size-fits-most" closures. We were thrilled when we got them as they even had purple in the laces. These are good quality, fits her perfectly and so cute. Our daughter loves them.

These skates are great. They're really comfortable and really warm. I bought these for my daughter to use at the local outdoor skate rink. She was so happy with these skates, and they're definitely worth the investment because now she won't have to pay for rentals or get blisters every time she skates. Fast shipping, and a good product.

I 1st ordered a size 7 based off the sizing chart method provided, they were too small. Ended up ordering a size 8 which fit perfectly on my 8.5 foot. Sizing is an individual fit, I say try your size 1st and gauge from there whether you need to go up or down in size. They fit great! They just arrived so I haven't skated with them yet and I'm a novice so I don't whether to have them sharpened or not. I'm going to ask the seller. Once I skate on them I'll adjust my rating. Everything else - style, comfort, packaging & fit are 4 stars!Anyone with expertise feel free to view my photos and chime in on skate sharpening - necessary or no?

Softec skates are the best! The only brand I buy! Bought 1 pair for my 16 y/o daughter who wears size 11 and one for my 12 y/o son. Both fit perfectly and so comfortable! I have a pair I bought 5 years ago and I’m still using. Last forever and are very warm and comfortable! Which is what I look for in a skate!
