Clever Creations Red and Green King 10 Inch Traditional Wooden Nutcracker, Festive Christmas Décor for Shelves and Tables

This piece is very vibrant. The front buttons catch the light as do the jewels on his crown. His uniform is very detailed. He’s also very sturdy. It’s lovely.

These are a beautiful edition to my Christmas decorations. A little price, but if you want something nice (and they’re well crafted and unusual African American Nutcrackers) you have to pay for it. Very nice, I’d deal with this company again.

I was talking with my nephew about Nutcrackers, and the history of them. He is 4, but his questions and understanding for things like this astonishes me.For years, I have been meaning to start buying a little collection for myself to put up as part of my Christmas decorations. I have always loved the meaning of them, as well as the aesthetic. After this cute conversation, I decided to make the jump and purchased it. When I received it in the mail, I told my nephew that I had one and that he could come over and play with it. He was thrilled to find it in my house, and spent a at least 45 minutes playing with it, and looking at all its features.I will look at this little guy as not only the first nutcracker I’ve purchased, but also a great memory I shared with my nephew attached to it. I’m glad I have it now.

Nice but had some visible cracks, chips, and glue. Not ideal for a gift.

This was a Christmas gift for my Mom, who collects nutcrackers. And, this was just perfect for her!The size is pretty standard- it matches the rest of her army well. The price is a little steep, in my opinion. But, the quality seems to be there as this has lasted a few years being in & out of storage, placed to exhibit.It’s an excellent gift for anyone who collects these- or even to get someone started on their collection! Especially if you have a younger one participating in the annual Holiday theatre production.This is more meant for ornamental & sentimental- I would not attempt to actually try & crack nuts with it!

I bought this as a stocking-stuffer, a small side-gift, for a friend who lives in the UK. I was worried that perhaps, due to the relatively low price of this item, it might not be as well-made as the picture showed. But I was very pleasantly surprised. It looks well made, and beautiful. It's quite large, and looks exactly like the picture.It's spiffy! I would definitely recommend this.

I don't normally post reviews, but I am going to make an exception.Pros: We recently ordered a nutcracker from this company. It appeared to have high reviews and be good quality for the price. Using prime, it arrived in 2 days.Cons: Long and behold, I open the package the next morning, and find that the nutcracker is broken. I understand that these items are fragile, but I cannot give my 6-year-old daughter a broken one (who has been asking for NOTHING OTHER than a Nutcracker for Christmas).I now find myself a few days before Christmas with two options: (1) try to frantically put this figurine back together myself and hope it doesn't break again or (2) ship it back to the company, hope they receive it and ship a new one in time for Christmas. May I also add that I have been shopping for two solid weeks now in-stores trying to find one with no luck...that is why I turned to Amazon in the first place.I hope the company can find a better way to package/ship these without breaking. Otherwise, it looks like a beautiful, quality item.
