Green Extra Large 20"x30" Kitchen Dish Towels (13 Units) by Liliane Collection - Commercial Grade Absorbent 100% Cotton Kitchen Towels - Classic Herringbone

I have looked at kitchen towels for a while with no success. These are good sized, durable and absorbent towels. I was looking for kitchen towels that I could wash with bleach. No matter how soiled they are, they always come out of the wash perfectly white. Also, the color band will not run. I have used these for the past six months, washing them once a week.

If I could give these 10 stars, I would. I got lots of cute dish towels when I got married. You know where they are? In the closet. These are the towels that are in my kitchen. They are used day in and day out. They dry a sink full of dishes, and don't leave lint all over everything. The are amazing. I use them for EVERYTHING. They are good for leaving out to dry dishes on. They are good for lining bowls to put bread and fruit in. They are good for drying hands and looking nice enough to leave out on a drawer handle. Have a big spill? They'll handle that. When they're done, pull out another one. Get stinking dirty because you use them for everything? Bleach those suckers! They are a-freaking-mazing!

I bought the towels with the green stripes. The material is quite poor quality, in my opinion. Many small dark and other color threads running throughout. Also, there were runs and frayed areas in the material. I have washed them according to the companies directions. They did not appear to shrink. I am not certain yet about there absorbency, sometimes it takes more than one washing to tell. Very disappointed in this product. I also emailed the company to let them know. They say they will respond within 24 hrs. But that has not happened.

Nice towels. But not what I ordered. They are not the turquois blue color shown but green.

These towels are a great size and they have a nice retro look that goes well in my mid-century modern home. I followed the care instructions that Liliane Collection sent to me in email a few days after I ordered. As promised the herringbone weave did tighten up and they did not shrink more than expected. I find these towels to be far superior to the inexpensive 12-pack of flour sack towels I had purchased on Amazon, which were okay but a bit thin. The Liliane towels are thicker and vastly more absorbent. Plus with the decorative stripe I don't mind having one hanging from my oven.The two reasons I couldn't give these towels a solid five-star review are: (1) the green dye ran on about a third of the towels, giving them a slight greenish tint, even though I followed care instructions carefully, washing them separately from other items and on a cold water wash/rinse. (2) there were a few loose threads that I had to snip upon removing them from the dryer, and there was an occasional dark thread woven into the white areas of a couple towels.Otherwise I find these towels to meet and/or exceed my expectations. These are workhorse type towels, not merely decorative, and after that first wash and dry not only did the weave tighten as promised, but I found any lint present when I took them out of the package was gone. I have replaced my flour sack towels completely with this set, relegating the flour sacks to soup straining or fruit drying cloths since they're already permanently stained and not suitable for display.

I was expecting them to be white but they have a very strong green tint where they should be white ..made them feel cheap and old to me, look like I messed up my washing or something... They look white in the pictures, did I get a faulty batch? I will definitely not be buying more if this is how they really are supposed to look like, very disappointed :(I took some pictures of the tea towels next to my white apron to show the color difference, the apron looks clean and white but the tea towel just looks dirty and old even though both are unused.After first wash:Still has that horrible green hue, hopefully with continuing washing it will fade and disappear (one can only hope). There were no washing instruction on the towels concerning washing temperature, I washed mine at 40°C. After washing I put them in the dryer on low heat until slightly damp (do not over dry to avoid shrinkage and ugly wrinkles), I also pulled lightly on mine while damp to get them straightened, shaped and to keep the original length. After that I let them finish drying on a round drying hanger rack with clips (does not take a lot of space at all). I had no obvious shrinkage (see pictures).I will be keeping an eye on the green hue and probably will give this product a higher score in the future IF that horrible tint goes away. The dryer lint came out like blue cotton candy (see pictures), hopefully the lint will be coming out clean and white in following washes.

These wash well, are very absorbent, and are truly the kitchen towel I have searched for, for a very long time. LOVE the large size of these, too. As another reviewer stated, they fold flat for limited drawer space. Most towels are sopping wet after using them a few times simply to dry my hands after washing up. Not these. One lasts all day, and I could not be happier.

Just washed, dried, and used the dish towels. The towels are 'work horses'. Excellent size, absorbent, and well made. The towels truly are commercial grade towels. They came well packaged in a plastic zip lock bag and came promptly. No delay. The delivery was placed where I had asked it to be to avoid the thefts of packages this season.
