I use them with an old floor machine probably built in the 1960's. Maintaining an old Fabulon Floor from the same period or actually a little older. Vac floor, use white pads with appropriate floor wax to clean and polish, buff with floor brush, dry a bit and finish polish with a rag on the brush. End result, clean, shiny old fashioned oak wood floor. The pads, worked fine. They probably hold up for several uses each.
