Oak Island Illustrated: The 225-year Search for Truth and Treasure

I bought this book for my husband because he loves the television program. He LOVED the book. Could not put it down. Considering the fact he is not really a reader, that is a great compliment for this book. It provides a lot of background for the show.

This was a gift for a family member - a die hard fan of the show. The extreme hoop of holler was heard through out the house on Christmas day

This book tells fables and stories, but little of the actual truth of Oak Island. Buy a copy for your coffee table, but don't expect to learn anything from it. Full-color, glossy garbage, for the most part.

Interesting history and research.

This was NOT a hardcover book, like I was expecting. It's too late to now send it back, since it's a gift.

I was looking for something for my wife (Oak Island super-fan) that she could proudly display on the coffee table or end table. Although this book is informative and fun for a fan, it is NOT a hardcover book.

If you are a fan of the show you will love this quick read describing the different theories behind the legend.

This is not a hard cover book as it claims. Very disappointed! Only reason I ordered was it said it was hard cover. I could of got the same paperback in a local store cheaper.
