I brought this linear drain and contractor install it without pay attention of the tile over the insert on top of the steel plate, now I got stuck and have to buy new linear drain without tile insert grate. stuck with one linear set now and unable to return because pass 30 days. the instruction is also poor. it did not give details instruction and we all thought the base and top plate level with floor tile and look like the base should push down more give 3/8" or 1/2" to the tile insert to level with the floor.. too bad..
