The threads for the head into the aluminum shaft are stripped and the head won't stay stable. If you try to screw it in you can feel them get tight then slip right out. Bad manufacturing or bad quality check, either way am returning. Too bad as it felt solid/sturdy, but makes me wonder about quality and durability over life of product.

I got it awhile back but I didn’t open till today. Come to find out I got someone else used stand. Had scratches all over the head mount and it was in pieces, so I had to figure that out. Plus it’s really weak in the legs. To late to return. Don’t wait like me open your packages when you get them. I would find a different seller.

I do not trust this tripod with my expensive gear. The SR plate becomes loose quickly and will not stay tight. Unable to use the versatility of this product. Can’t find a SR plate replacement. Wondering if this default is covered in warranty? Was unable to return. I would recommend purchasing a tripod that you can test before buying. If I could get a replacement plate that worked I would be happy.

Product is great. I had to write a review. Although, it showed no stars, I took my chance. Great choice. Sturdy for my work lights. Tripod is up to 80 inches high. Work space is now well lit. Buy it you won’t regret it.

This is a versatile tripod that takes some getting us to. I like it and it does everything I want it to.
