Would buy again
Great product and easy to install on existing pipes. Always had over flow from plant area on to our patio from old nozzles. The drip system corrected that and plants get plenty of moisture.

Sturdy connection points, surprisingly noisy
Installed easily, seems durable enough.I replaced several sprinklers with a range of units. I like these because the connection points are solid, no worries about breaking the connection when fitting a drip hose. However these are much more noisy than the other units I installed. I can hear them easily when standing over them. That’s not a concern for me though

Great product
I don’t use it on a riser, I use it with a 1/2” male pipe thread (MPT) adapter to join to my 1/2” poly pipe. I love that this has no moving parts, so there is very little to leak or break. My Orbit manifolds (which have the moving green elbows) all leak, but this one does not. I’ve read about the tips breaking in other reviews; I haven’t experienced that (yet) and I’ll update this if I do.I haven’t found the barb covers too difficult to remove as other reviewers have. I used a pair of pliers to grip the flat end that sticks off the barb, then twisted the cover while pulling straight towards me.I think this is a great product and I recommend it. If that changes, I’ll update this review.

Cost saver
Squirrels tend to chew the device and was charged $100 for gardener to replace. Very easy to unscrew the old one and install the new one.

ports break off easily
I like these manifolds but it's hard to get the black cap off each port without snapping it off completely. Once one snaps off, you can't use the manifold and have to throw the whole thing in the trash. I had to do this will 3 manifolds! Finally, I learned to gently snip a hole on each side of the black cap and then tease it off the port with needle nose pliers. What a pain.
