Book of the Witch Moon: Chaos, Vampiric & Luciferian Sorcery, The Choronzon Edition

I've read some negative reviews about this book which were neither substantive or civil about, not the work itself, but the author. I bought the book at the suggestion of a friend across the pond, and consequently, felt compelled to write. I think I can say with some credibility that magick can work with manifestations in the material plane, for all to see and appreciate.I am 55, have been part of a few groups (GD, OTO, OA,) and work primarily as a solitary. I have been retired since age 48, have done some filmmaking, and currently have a novel in progress, that is being followed by a major publishing house in the US. I have a BS in biochemistry, a BA in psychology, an MBA, and an MA in Buddhist philosophy, that I attained in Thailand. All of my academics were paid for by bursary scholarships. Having my own experiences with academics, I was distracted by the comments about his lack of citations. I thought "Ya citations are important...they're authoritative." But as a Luciferician myself, I thought "Well, if I wanted the validation of some outside authority myself, I guess I could go look them up myself...Na." That kind of distinction in Magickal texts and grimoires is a notable one among Luciferians. It's kind of like the difference between listening to a symphony vs. listening to a guitar player in some band improvising a solo. The Magick is more in the improvised solo and the method to accessing that kind of magick is presented in The Wisdom of Eosphorous, which does have references to points in need of refinement, if that's your cup of tea. It helped me to better understand where he goes in The book of the Witch Moon, which I highly recommend to any Open-Minded Individual, and more importantly, to those who truly don't like his book.The workings in the Witch Moon will support individual efforts of anyone with a balanced perspective. They open the mindscape to avenues much deeper within than "Make-a-million-with-no-money-down" currents of The Great Work. And the closed-minded will continue to wander around in dark, extroverted projections screaming for attention. Beyond that, I won't bore you with a polished, wholly complete and APA-style with a detailed analysis of the contents unless you have a genuine interest (zzzzzzzzzz....) I will say that you'll only like the books you're ready for. If you're ready for another step, please consider the aforementioned book and Book of the Witch Moon (perhaps even in that order, perhaps not). I have found through these works a succinct clarity and efficient, minimal use of effort in just about every area I have applied them to so far. Cheers. And Thank you, Michael W. Michael Ford is one of my all time favorite authors. His books are the best. This book is really well written and the rituals are absolutely wonderful. He talks in a friendly voice and does not belittle you. The rituals are really easy to follow, which adds to the allure to this wonderful book. I LOVE the information in this book. The book, as a whole, is very informative. It is has a LOT of rituals. Part of the reason I bought this book is because, I am wanting to learn about Luciferianism and this book really delivers. :) Get this book.

If you know you know. If you don’t, you don’t. You better have a sense of humor about it. I’ve destroyed many but never this one. This one is a survivor of domestic abuse. Looks like Hecate but I’m not sure. Once again everything is not what it seems.

A very enjoyable book. It is refreshing that there are books which combine elements of chaos magic,vampirism,paganism and satanism. Many LHP practitioners do not remain in one area of practice,being an independent eclectic myself its good to see in literature that there are others.

An initiation into the dark and deep realms of the subconscious . This book is about awakening the witch blood within and awakening our darker powers for further happiness and control of our environment. Michael Ford taps into vampiric and lycanthropic energy to enter the state of gnosis. This grimoire is very heavy on performance and light on the philosophy which makes it a great book for someone who is intermediate advanced.The book is very Luciferian which means that a variety of dark deities will be called upon. Lilith is the queen of succubi and other vampiric deities but you are also calling on Samael, Pan, Choronzon and a few other ones. Choronzon is standing at the gate way of Daath which is thee sphere of the abyss. In the abyss is where vampiric haunts and other elemental exist in both complete and incomplete form. To cross the abyss or to work with these elemental one must be of sound mind and of strong will. These elemental are your servants, not your friends or advisers. To give them too much importance could lead to illness, insanity and or death.This grimoire has several rituals covering a variety of needs. Since this is meant to be a gateway into the dark current so there is an initiation rituals followed by a ritual to consecrate your athame. Included are rituals to evoke lycanthropic powers to/ empower yourself toward self realization. Vampiric servitors when created can serve to attack a foe or protect from psychic attack. Servitors when created must be destroyed , or banished as when they are let alone they can do lots of damage.This book is a great how to book for those looking to enter the shadow realms of their psyche, it is a dark current. Remember that black magic is about making yourself into a god and not about hurting or exploiting others. Use the magic well as it was intended. Many technique are pulled from Grimoires, yoga and far eastern spiritual methods .

I love his books on Left Hand Path Magick and The Rituals found this book are impressive and proven to work !!!I can tell you this book delivers on everything expected and only for the dedicated Left Hand Path Follower.
