It has a great feel, the weight is nice, and cosmetically it is very good looking. The pen writes well, it is thin and I prefer a medium. That it why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. The cap snaps in place and is of no effort to snap off. Color choices are great colors that give it a professional look. The Stylus tip is of a nice rubber, a light tap on your screen is all you need to use it. I would recommend this Stylus/Pen combination to anyone for their tablets, phone or any device that a Stylus will make the experience of using it a better one.

I had one of these for 7 years; I cannot remember where I got it. I loved it. The weight was good, I found gel ink refills that fit it perfectly and wrote so smoothly. Then... someone stole it from my desk - perhaps they appreciated it as much as I did. So I purchased one of these as a replacement - not the same color but but the same quality.Now, I have a lock on my office door.UPDATE:2 years later and I still love this pen. The ink replacement I prefer is Pilot LG2RF-8M/BLS-G2-10, black ink (always). I was just in here buy more replacement ink cartridges.It has a little dent where I dropped it but after 2 years, this pen still looks expensive; it's still has it's polished look and the cap still make that "click" sound when you put the cap on it.

A pen and stylus combo, but not great. It has some heft and looks executive, but after a few months the top coat of paint has started to peel away. The rubber stylus does not work well with handwriting apps. It just doesn't glide across the screen. If Targus were to replace the rubber stylus with a microfiber one, and deal with the paint peel issue, this would be a great product.If you'd like a great Pen/Stylus Combo......I suggest the TruGlide Duo.

The first week was great. The rollerball was smooth, nice black ink THEN week 2. It runs outs of ink. Recommended refill standard cross rollerball THEY DO NOT FIT. Talked to targus rep. Argued with me and said they fit. Second call to targus told it takes Mont Blanc refills -not! Stylus fair but mushy. I expect more out of a $40.00 pen. Gave up and bought a BAMBOO stylus and love. Don' t waste your money on the Targus.

Looks nice, writes a little rough at first. says it takes a Mont Blanc refill so might be expensive when time to replace the ink cartridge. A little on the heavy side, seems well made.Update - still like the pen, gets compliments for its looks. If anything the rough writing hasn't diminished. If you write heavy its a nice look. If you're trying to write small or not heavy, its skips. When its time to get a refill, maybe getting a fine point vs a medium point will do the trick. So far though, a good pen/stylus combination.Update - been a few months since I bought.Ran out of ink so needed a refill. The Montblanc rollerball refill works great. Writes smoother than the original it came with. Stylus is a little soft so not sure if it will stand up to heavy use, but I only use occasionally. Everyone who borrows this wishes they had one so I don't let it go far. Wish they had more color choices.

I purchased this stylis because of the positive reviews. For me, the stylis tip/pen-cap is too wide to see what I'm trying to select when looking down the barrel. It obstructs the view. And if you like to doodle, forget about it! You basically have to draw blindly because the rubber tip is hidden - and the rubber tip is wide - so that should tell you something. Also, the point of the pen is too fine for my liking. It's like writing with a needle, which results in unsmooth and jagged handwriting because the tip pricks the paper. I don't find this stylis to be a very practical instrument for touchscreen or handwriting. It's top-heavy for handwriting, and bottom-heavy for touchscreen. It might work for those who will use at an angle, but not for straight up and down users like me.

I received my Targus Combo - stylus / pen and am very pleased with it. I'm a pen collector of sorts and have been an o.e. calligrapher for over 25 years now. I'm very particular when it comes to fine writting instruments. I own a couple of Montblancs, a couple of Pelikans and more common brands like Cross, Sheaffer and Parker. This pen writes flawlessly and the stylus works very well - even with a screen protector on my iPad. All in all, this is a great value. Besides it's functionality, it also looks great. I have many clients who have made compliments regarding it and all are very impressed. Shipping was expeditious as I opted to use Amazon's Free Super Saver shipping. I live in Hawai'i and received the pen in two days! I HIGHLY recommend this purchase without any reservations.

Practically speaking Capacitive touch is good if your using your finger and all, but in the end the accuracy is not what is expected if compared to writing with a pen. Basically you would need large surface areas to match what your writing.I don't blame the pen, the pen has premium feel and look. Quality is high and everything about it is very good. But I guess I was bombed by the capability of capacitive touch that I wasn't able to use the pen as much as I had planned to.Maybe ill change my mind some time later.. but for now.. Im putting it on the side.
