The tool was prohibitively expensive, but necessary. I used this tool yesterday, and it worked perfectly. I'm shocked that I can own this tool, for very little money. I recommend this to anyone who has purpose for it. Review: Can rip a bolt in half - So, first, I'm an idiot. I decided to use the 1/2" cutter on a steel cabinet (fairly beefy). But I put the receiver chuck in backwards so the poor ram was pulling the cutter into a solid piece of steel instead of the hollow receiver. So it ended up as a stress test and I found that the hydraulic piston didn't come apart as I proceeded to instead tear a bolt apart (see picture). So my set now doesn't have a 1/2" hole option anymore, but I know the hydraulics work really well. BTW, I found it interesting that the bolt wasn't metal all the way through, but just metal skinned. If you aren't an idiot like me, I'm sure it would work fine, and in fact ended up being a safety feature, thinking about it.
