great customer service from the factory.i delayed beyond the amazon return date to install this kit. the starter worked properly for a few starts but then stopped working. reviewed the wire connections. all connections good. solenoid operated correctly but motor would not run. removed motor field housing to view brushes. brush connections good. checked armature commutator and found one sector missing wiring. this caused a dead spot on the armature. when this dead sector stops on the + brush or the - brush the motor will not run.contacted amazon help center with this problem and was informed of the one year warrantee and was provided with manufactures contact information. i sent the above info to the manufacture. they responded within 48 hours and issued a refund through amazon. amazon issued a refund including the sales tax to my credit card.I reordered a new kit.

There are no instructions but if you are someone familiar with these engines and wiring it is simple. You will have to tap 3 m6-1.0 threads into block, and the wiring follows colors of factory wiring only the heavy red wire w/ring goes to starter solenoid and the green/yellow ring wire goes to ground which I put to the blower housing bolt, only other modification is low oil shut down delay needs to be relocated to blower housing or somewhere you can ground to. The items arrived broken due to the shipment packaging. Both magnets for the charging coil inside the flywheel were chipping and broken from the starter rolling around. Additionally the flywheel cover was beat up from all of this but usable. I was willing to ignore that and clean them out with the understanding that it would only slightly effect the charging... Sometimes you just want to get things back together.That said the flywheel inner diameter isn't sized correctly for a 6.5hp Honda GX220 or 212 Predator clones, the bore hole undersized and will not slide far enough into the shaft... When I say far enough I mean +.500 aka half inch. That would leave the flywheel nut engaging less than 25% of the threads holding it on the crankshaft. Between those two issues I boxed it back up for return.I don't mind using Chinese aftermarket stuff when it's cheap to buy and can get a job done. It's going on a mini bike so it's not like the engine is mission critical. But sometimes these manufacturers go to far in trying to selling universal "one size fits all" that are just sketchy. This kit falls into that category.Could it work? Yeah maybe, do I wanna deal with the possibility of a messed up crank shaft or poor charging issues later because it's sketchy... Nope!

This is my second starter kit installed this month. Put it on both my Trailmaster mb-200 minibikes. Did not use keyed start switch on either. Just wired battery to starter with a push button switch mounted on handle bars to make ground complete to solenoid when pushed. All parts and hardware needed was included. Just need battery, wire, connectors and push start button . I read a lot of people had trouble with keyed start switch in any of these kits. Figured I just throw it away and make my own switch. Less hassle "man"...

could be worse but key cylinder will lock up on you and starter bolt holes on the engine block will get ripped out by he starter. Forcing you to re-tap bigger bolt holes for it. Other than that, Its a starter!

I hear all the stuff that this does not work on the Predator engine but it does it works on a r210 predator engine

Works with my no name Home Hardware (Radley?) 212cc pressure washer.No more need to put my foot on it while cranking or having it fall on it's side while cranking. Perfect application for a starter!
