My new FAVORITE food book!
If you haven't yet decided to get Kris Carr's newest book, Crazy Sexy Juice, you really must get it. Today! You're going to love it. It's actually become my favorite food book (and I have many). We just finished the 3 day cleanse yesterday and it was very enjoyable and very doable (IF you do it over a weekend when you're home or you work from home, which we do). The Lemon Quinoa meal on day two of the cleanse and the Zucchini Noodle meal on day three ALONE are SO worth getting the book! They are SO yummy, better than we ever expected (and I have to add that my girlfriend and I are not fans of cilantro AT ALL and actually LOVED the Cilantro Vinaigrette over the Lemon Quinoa dish. It's ridiculously good). These two dishes will, for sure, be a part of our regular rotation. :)This book is great for anyone wanting to incorporate more healthy foods into their diet——to eliminate/purge their body of any foods (if one is partaking in) such as dairy, gluten, animal protein, alcohol, chemicals (processed foods/junk drinks), etc. If you're already into juicing and smoothies (as we are), it's a wonderful way to switch things up a little, as she gives MANY combos you've most likely not thought of (not to mention the other great real food ideas and snacks). The sky's the limit when it comes to juice/smoothie combinations, and Kris's new book just livens it up even more so. Yum, yum I say! (try the Turmeric Milk, that too, is a real treat!). Simply put, don't hesitate to get this book. You won't be sorry.

Just what we needed
I bought a juicer in an effort to get some healthier stuff into my kids quickly in the morning. I quickly began juicing fruit-veggie blends for myself. I needed to take it to the next level for my health. Nothing was particularly 'wrong,' and I already ate what would be considered a healthy diet, but I knew my body needed more.I switched to a whole foods diet, gave up coffee and sugar and and and! I already had begun making my own kombucha from oolong, so that and the juicing made the transition much easier. Kris Carr's suggestions in her Crazy Sexy Diet book, along with the success stories I keep reading, made it worthwhile to weather the transition to green juicing and whole foods eating.I was surprised to enjoy more energy without coffee, and to drop 8 pounds in a month [I wasn't particularly overweight]. I think that my body feels more satisfied for longer because of the high nutrition in what I consume now. I also read that it helps stabilize blood sugar. My morning green juice [like her Green Lemonade] really satisfies me for hours, and that's a first for me--to feel satisfied for that long without the fatigue of a very full belly from a big meal.Now this recipe book makes it easy to change-up my juice every once in a while to satisfy my curious palate. I've just ordered a copy for my sister, too.I'm so grateful that Kris Carr uses her journey to make other folks' journeys that much easier, healthier, stronger, and wiser.Bravo!

3 day cleanse was great!
I just finished the 3 day cleanse which is in the back of this book. I followed the grocery list and bought all my ingredients. I had everything to help me succeed those 3 days. I loved the fact that I was never starving. Basically it is 3 juices, a mid day smoothie which is filling, a snack and a delicious and satisfying dinner! This cleanse also gave me the opportunity to try many recipes in this book that I may not have tried on my own. Everything from the juices to the cashew butter and marinara sauce over zucchini noodles(amazing), the cilantro lime dressing, the baked chickpeas, lemon quinoa and tahini dressing were to die for! I have experimented with many other books and their recipes and these in this book are an absolute home run. After these 3 days, I feel healthy and detoxed from overeating, sugars, refined carbs. I may have lost a pound or two but that is not what this cleanse is for. Its a healthy kickstart. I highly recommend this book and the cleanse.

Amazing! If you just want to have your first ...
Amazing! If you just want to have your first experience with juicing or blending fruits and vegetables or if you have your own juice brand selling world wide, the recipes in this book are for you! I haven't found a single recipe that is not delicious. We also tried almost all the recipes at the end of the book and the the food is also great. Very useful information about buying, storing and finding replacements for fruits and veggies used in the book. With a nice 3 day detox plan that even comes with the grocery list you need to make it happen as easy as possible. My husband was quite reluctant at first, but the recipes were sooo good that now he goes to the market to buy kale, fruits and vegetables and ask every day what juice do we drink that day.

OH WOW and YUM!
I just got my book in the mail and OMG!!! I started reading through and marking the recipes that I would like to dive in and try right away. Well, that was just CRAZY because about half way along through the book, I suddenly realized that I was marking EVERY page. So, now I just decided to mark the pages as I try each and EVERY recipe...much better Idea! This book is more than just recipes. It truly is an educational read into the world of juicing. I have incorporated the concept of juicing into my daily life for some time now and I have to tell you, you will feel great each time you partake. Kris's book makes it fun and easy. As a nutritional coach, I am always looking for wonderful resources to pass along to my clients. I will definitely be passing this one along!

Fantastic book and some great guidance
I love this book and I love Kris. Not only does this book have amazing juice and nut milk recipes, but it also has a little on Kris' story and a lot on how to pick and store fruits and veggies, which I found really useful. Kris is really thorough in her books, and tried to answer every question, which is why I really like her. She's genuine and is sharing as much as possible with her readers. Her guidance, to me is invaluable, especially as I am navigating my way through my own wellness journey. There's something for everyone in this book, and what's great is you can see what you have in the fridge and then have a look at the recipes to see what you can make. Kris also gives suggestions for altering recipes, i.e. with strong green juices, she suggests how to make them more palatable for a beginner, which I really appreciated as I would be kind of lost as to how to change it up. Great book for any juice junkie to have in their cupboard.

A Wealth of Information in one book
There is a lot of enthusiasm these days on green smoothies and Kriss Carr tells the reader , their benefits, how to choose the right juicer/ blender and how to choose the right veggies and fruits . Do you have to buy an item organic? She gives the answer. There is a whole big list of recipes to choose from according to your whims. The author reveals everything about green smoothies in one book. Nicely put down in words, I finished the book in one day.

I love it! In my Opinion the Best Juice Recipe Book ever!
It's immensely informative but still in a light way, so you don't fall asleep while reading it ;) She offers a wide range of various recipes and all ingredients are easy to get. In lots of books it can get hard to get the ingredients (if you do not live in a big city with special markets), but Kris Carr makes it really easy and sooo funny to follow her recipes. What I also like very much is, that she makes it easy to choose a Juice for the day, either you go with 'what do i have at home' and choose a nice Juice, or you can choose by 'what does my body need today? Pep talk, Soothing or Healing,..?

Love all Kris' books
Love all Kris' books. Even if you are a seasonal juicer (I am) this is an inspirign book and may surprise you with a recipe or two. Especially the plays with nut milks at the end. The photography, as always, is delicious.I wish they published it in the same size as the previous books, so they would sit nicely together on my shelf. But as that might just be personal thing, it's not loosing a start for that.
