Worked excellent for my Mercedes E500 W211's Lower Balljoint
What's not to like? Heavy tools and they performed perfectly.I was able to separate the lower ball joint with no damage to the boot.I used the 31mm claw and greased the threads of the tool with silicone grease.Slow tightening of the bolt of the tool and the ball joint separate with a loud pop!Very reasonably price of this tool set. I highly recommend this set.

Fantastic tool!
I struggled with this steering knuckle on my Land Rover for hours with cheaper tools, damaging them. 10 minutes after Amazon delivered this tool, the joint was separated with no struggle. It's worth the money. Great tool!!!

Not the cheapest, but def overbuilt
It popped the balljoints off Mazda super easy when the fork I had was doing nothing. Just a fyi, don't use an impact with the chamfered threaded rod, because it will gall it up and will not come off.

Good price, a MUST have DIY for Suspension works on Mercedes, BMW, VW
A must have tool set. Price is right. I have mercedes, bmw and vw and It seems suspension jobs are much easier. This is a great ball joint set to remove larger style ball joints found of german cars. It is a good price and a must have set. Dont forget to grease the threads before you use. Makes it go a lot smoother. Hand ratchet is better, never use power tools on these jobs.

Work Made Easy
First tool I bought was a different kind of ball joint separator and could not get the job done. Several tries almost broke the tool, so I bought another tool. But the second tool was too small for the job and would not fit into the ball joint. Finally I got this kit. Good thing is that it comes in different sizes. The 31mm fit the ball joint snuggly. This tool got 2 ball joints to pop out in less than 15 minutes.Following the instructions provided on the product description. Please keep a safe distance and turn slowly. If you have an old ball joint that has not been removed before, this tool will separate it easily but will release a lot of energy when it pops. So be careful
