The SSD came well packaged and as described. Installing was straightforward and easy. The Linux install process spotted the SDD and installed it with no issues and would repurchase this item from this seller again

My Macbook Air SSD failed. I bought this, installed it, used the disc tool to format and partition it and loaded my Mac operating system. Back up and running in under an hour. So far so good.

I got this hoping to repair my macbook pro after the existing drive died completly. Spent two weeks doing everything i could to try and get it to show up in mac os but no matter what i do it dosnt. Shows up on ubuntu without any issues but never on mac os recovery or any other mac os.

My original Apple SSD in a A1466 Macbook Air failed and I bought the 512MB version to replace it, despite the misleading sizes in the description it is the same size as the original and fitted no problem. The laptop had been running Big Sur so I was hopeful that it the new SSD would be recognised when booting to recovery mode, however disc utility did not see it. I ordered one of the Catalina boot USBs on Amazon Same Day delivery, when booting using the USB it immediately recognised the new SSD and I was able to format, install Catalina and then reboot on the new SSD and quickly update to my original MacOS and restore from Time Machine. So far very happy rescuing my laptop at a good price.

The hard drive arrived on time and in good condition. However, I have a few observations to share. The read and write speeds are approximately 600 MB/s, which is acceptable but not exceptional. The quality appears decent for now, but it's important to note that the voltage is 1.0V—not 1.5V or 1.2V, as some might expect.I encountered issues when attempting to use this drive with my 2013 iMac. Despite multiple formatting attempts, it still did not function properly. It took me two days to make adjustments to accommodate my older hardware, so I strongly recommend verifying compatibility before purchasing.Other than these concerns, the drive performs well.Thank you.

I bought this frankly because it was the cheapest one i could find, BUT it turned out to be a big improvement to my Mac. the read write speed of the SSD is double my original mac SSD and it has made a big difference to operational speed of pretty much everything! There was no faffing around installing it, was instantly detected and formatted in Disk Utility so i could install Mac OS.

My hard drive was corrupted and I needed a new hard drive. Bought this for my Mac Air which I bought in 2013. Thought I would have to buy a new PC, Had this installed professionally locally at very little cost. Went back to Apple and got the software down loaded. Managed to get everything back. PC now as good as new.

As per description, works well, would recommend to bring your laptop up to speed and storage, great delivery /service
