I shortlisted this and one other similar item, and chose this in the end a) because it was the heavier more solid of the two, and b) I already have a larger box of the same make and design.While the large patio deck box has many screws holding it together, this model just has plastic lugs on the corner posts. At first this felt like a weakness, but for all normal use it's more than sufficient.It requires a little dexterity but once you've figured how to hold everything aligned to put the top frame on, it's very quick and easy to assemble and stable. Some of the machining has left fluffy edges, but once it's assembled none of that shows, and it looks very respectable.Its solid enough to sit on, by design. I expect it locks just fine, although I haven't bothered. The box is small enough someone could just carry it off if they were determined to get in.It's sturdy and weatherproof enough for all normal use. All in all I'm very happy with it.

Completely waterproof and really good looking. Great wood and leather effect. Bought to store my BBQ tools, pots and pans.
