I'm having knee replacement surgery. How long will this stay cold? Is it recommended to buy additional packs?

This thing is lucky if it stays cold for 15 minutes. I have a similar one for the shoulder that I now have to strap around my knee that stays cold much longer. I put both in the freezer overnight and the shoulder pack, which is much thinner stays cold five times longer. I don't know how other people are getting anything more than 15 minutes out of this.

Does the ice back reach the back of the knee also ? Because I usually ice both

I suppose it depends on how large your knee or leg is. My knee circumference going through the middle of my kneecap around is 16 inches and it does NOT go fully around. There is about a 3 to 4 inch gap in the back. I usually just rotate it and ice the back after or I put a small ice pack and strap it with the black straps attached to this ice pack. I do really like this ice pack though.

Does this cool just the top of the knee or all around the back also?

This would fit all sizes because the bands are velcro and can be made tighter or looser as needed. My boyfriend has thanked me several times for getting this for him.

Amazing recovery

Great recovery product.. after playing sports I applied it as per recommended in the instructions leaflet in the package.. next morning I didn't feel any pair or inflammation that usually felt after playing sports at all. Great simple recovery tool.

È davvero ben realizzata, ho apprezzato moltissimo che l’interno fosse in velluto, perfetto per il nonno che operatosi al ginocchio aveva la cicatrice delicata. Si chiude benissimo ed è molto semplice da indossare, regge anche molto bene il freddo.

Great product

After reading a bunch of reviews I decided to go with this ice pack and I'm so glad I did! It's the perfect size and the fabric that goes against the skin is so soft and luxurious (I have very sensitive skin). It stays cool for about 20-30 minutes which works out great and it fits in the freezer well. It comes with a little plastic bag which I love so it doesn't have to touch anything in the freezer and stays protected. I'm happy!
