I love it!
As anyone else, I only like to spend my money on something that will be truly valuable to me and this fan is one of those things. It’s sturdy, decorative and came exactly as described in the photos. The seller was very courteous and gave me as much tracking info and reassurance as possible. If anyone is second-guessing buying this, DON’T. IT’S WORTH IT!

It's What I Wanted
I always wanted this fan and I have been looking for years. Finally got one and now my long search is over. I can smack some one and look elegant at the same time. Only for self defense of course. My only issue is that it's hard to close. Due to the thickness. Either than that I'm over joyed.

It is functional and discreet
The fan in beautiful. Needs to be broken in otherwise stiff and feels like you'll break it filding it up. It is durable thus far and the tussle fell off it was really pretty but didn't last.

Nice sturdy fan
Truly a great fan. Sturdy and very pretty. Lighter weight then I first imagined but still a great defense fan.

Poor quality
I returned this fan. It was very difficult to open and close, and the screw that held all the blades together kept falling out, so the fan would fall apart. I suppose it would be fine if you just wanted it for decor.

Cheap
Yes it’s metal on the outsides but the fan and fingers are trash. You cannot quickly open or close it at all. Trying to quickly close it results in the fan becoming twisted up and folding the wrong way which is not conducive for Kung fu purposes at all. It’s a show piece at best

The gaurd maybe aluminum, but the sticks are cheap plastic.
Suitable only for decorative purposes.
