It Could Only Be Tyler : A Sweet YA Romance (Beachbreak High Book 2)

I love the boys in this series. They are cool kids but so sweet and lovely with everyone. I loved this book just as much as the first.

Especially in a sweet, clean romance I like the dual points of view. I'm not sure the author quite has the voice right for the guy's thoughts, it reads a bit like what the girl would want him to feel. But that's ok. It's sweet anyway.I really like the young lady in this story. She's shy, but also rather fearless. And the boy is more sensitive than he appears to his friends.Looking forward to more of this series.

So this was a really cute story of teo friends that enter into a fake relationship to benefit both of them. On his side I can see a horrible ex promising revenge.The sticking point for me is her mother. What a terrible situation to put your SIXTEEN year old daughter in. I was slightly horrified by her attitude about forcing her daughter to kiss someone, especially someone she doesn't like, for a photo. What is that? I understand it's a plot driver, but I don't think the mother's pushing to get her young daughter to date/kiss a boy at all costs for her own reasons was quite necessary.Otherwise it's adorable.

Tyler and Nina’s story is a fun read and romance. Parker models what a “mean girl “ is. Plus Mason and Zoe continue their relationship. It’s a light and charming story about characters you’ll love.

This book can be described in one word: “awwwwwww.” This is a super sweet Christmas YA romance. There may not be snow but all of the other Christmas shenanigans made me forget about that little detail. Tyler and Nina were adorable together.

The only part that rubbed me the wrong way (thus the 4 star) was Nina’s mom. Nina is 16 and her mom-conflict is written for an older character. The whole “I got you a kissing date with a friends son” should be left out of YA.Other than that I loved Nina and Ty’s story.

Wow, this book was just so good. I loved it so much! Nina and Tyler were well-developed, fun characters with so much chemistry. And the fake boyfriend aspect was great! There were so many cute moments and funny moments that I enjoyed and laughed out loud at. If you’re looking for an adorable, funny, enjoyable, clean YA high school romance, this is the one!

These stories are so cute! Fun reads, lots of humor & sweet first loves. I recommend them for all ages.

She’s also genuine and really embraces her preferences and personality.Btw... was it just me or Nina’s mom was very passive-aggressive and dismissive towards her in many occasions?Waiting for Jace and Callie’s story! ❤️❤️

Reviewed by my 13 year old daughter:I read this book in just two days and begged for the next one! It is the second in the series and is even better than the first book. I can’t wait to read the next one!
