Linenspa 5 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress - Twin

Absolutely love it! Unlike most people that have written reviews on this, I bought it to be my bed, not for a guest room or bunk-bed, etc.. I was looking for something that didn't take up much room (currently renting one room in a house) and could be rolled up or stood up during the day to provide more space. I needed it firm but not stiff (60+ male, 200 lbs with a few chronic med issues), since it would be laying on a piece of carpet on a wood floor (no frame). It has more than met my expectations so far. I can't wait to go back to bed later :-). It came vacuum-sealed and rolled up, encased in a thicker (4-5 mil?), "tube" of plastic inside a good-quality, thick cardboard box. Carefully cut the thicker plastic (too tight to slip off) tube off (use scissors if you want to be sure not to slip and cut into the mattress) with a box cutter and cut off the plastic "bag". No big release of chemical vapors like others I've dealt with in the past. I was very surprised how low (almost non-existent) the odor was. Had to get really close to the mattress to notice it. It expanded pretty fast to the full 5" and I let it lay on the living room floor overnight and into the next day to air out (instructions say it can take up to 48 hours to fully expand but mine took less than an hour). Next day I replaced my bed-roll (2" mattress topper with a couple pads for easy roll-up and stashing out of the way) with this mattress and tested it out. Super comfortable for me. It is firm (some would say very firm) but for me it has just enough give and provides great support). For a lighter person, it may be too firm depending on your taste. It's too thick to roll up like my make-shift bed roll but it will stand up in an area out of the way. I'll take that trade-off of a better sleep vs a bit more room any day. For those who want a softer feel, get a mattress topper for $20-$35. A topper of 1" - 3" will provide the softness and "give" that many like. It can then be removed for those who like a firm to very firm feel like I do. In any case, I was just going to lay on it for a while to read and check comfort level but ended up falling asleep before I had even put the sheets on. Got a great nap. Hadn't slept that well in months. Can't wait to try a full night of testing tonight :-))). Your mileage may vary. Sleep comfort is a very individual thing but for me and my needs, this mattress is a great fit. Hope it works as well for you.

Ok. So I'm one of those people that absolutely suck at buying big purchases like new mattresses when they're clearly needed. I tend to just sleep on the old original, make due, suffer, and complain about it every waking hour.. I want to first admit. I did get a discount on this one. Not sure how, just put it in my cart and it was cheaper than what the list price was. Might have been a credit from Amazon I wasn't aware of at the time..So I bought it anyways. First the packaging is awesome. Came in a really small box vacuum sealed with 2 layers of plastic. Remove from box, remove first plastic. 'roll it out', remove second plastic, and watch it expand right before your eyes.. It DOES take about 24hrs for it to fully expand. Do not be discouraged. The middle portion expands fast, but the ends (head and foot) do take a little extra time but it's not a big deal honestly.. Give it time! First I sat on it, and it was amazing! Firm, but plush against me, supported but didn't push back so much I was uncomfortable. Then I laid on it. Super firm for the first couple seconds, but once your body sinks into it it really does add great support, but cradles at the same time.. It's firm for support, but plush enough to still cradle you like a softy.. Best of both worlds. First sleep.. Now. I've had chronic sleep problems, and severe pain for years, and I really believe it was due to bad sleep on an older spring mattress that's seen better days.. I'd toss, turn, wake up over and over. and though I was laying down for 8-10hrs. I was probably only actually asleep for 2 of those nightly. Life sucked! (although I'm sure the chiropractor enjoyed all the visits) First sleep on this mattress. I slept through the night, turned over once and woke up fine. Sat up. did my morning twist and turn, snappity, crackity, pop. stretched out and actually felt muscles stretching and not just bone/joints grinding.. After about a week. (because there's no miracle pill) I lost 90% of my chronic pain. Because I'm sleeping through the night, not tossing and turning constantly, and the mattress is supporting me no matter my angle. I would 100% recommend this, and other products by this company.. It's cheap! (I mean inexpensive), well worth the money, it comes in different firmness's, and trust me. Your body will love you..

The LINENSPA mattress looks beautiful, it is carefully made, and its cover is elegant, with a woven pattern. All the certifications testify to its technical quality and safety. The mattress feels quite firm, especially compared with a Serta PerfectSleeper 3" Gel Memory Foam Mattress topper, which I used briefly. My previous mattress (for many, many years) was a futon. It had become extremely uncomfortable, giving rise to pressure point pain, aches and pains, discomfort--the response of an aging body. The LINENSPA mattress gave a very good night's sleep, no residual aches or pains. Its feel is quite firm, with a slim layer cushioning on top. Sleeping on the Serta topper is like sleeping on a cloud (who said that?). It is soft and enveloping. Whereas sleeping on the LINENSPA mattress is like sleeping on a very firm cloud. The sensation of sleeping on the Serta was a slight feeling of weightlessness, of being in a cozy nest. It was more than pleasant--it was blissful, and for me, seemed to promote total relaxation. So by comparison, the LINENSPA (for me) was less blissful, but it gave me a good night's sleep. I wouldn't have been the wiser if I hadn't tried the Serta topper. So I'm going to keep LINENSPA mattress, use it for a while, and see what happens. But I won't forget the Serta topper. The LINENSPA's weight, 18-19 pounds, makes it easy to handle. Except for technical info and certifications, customer care and information with LINENSPA appears to be minimal, with one small statement on 10 year warranty and no information on how to return or where to call for warranty/recall issues, etc.--not that I expect to return it. But that kind of information is always reassuring. Also, information on cleaning/laundering the mattress and cover is on a small tag attached to them. All info on composition is online. Other info (returns, etc.) may also be there and I just didn't see it.

A DAY IN THE LIFE of my husband Jude and I these days consists of work, work, and renovating our home. Seems like EIGHT DAYS A WEEK we are burning the midnight oil and A HARD DAYS NIGHT. Things are GETTING BETTER, but most days I just want to scream for HELP! We recently ordered two Linenspa 5-inch gel mattresses to go with a daybed with trundle for the BOYS room BECAUSE all other mattresses we found were so expensive! These ones were an incredible price. I know you CAN'T BUY ME LOVE but I thought if these worked out, I might argue that point. YESTERDAY we received our order (on a Sunday, an entire day before our scheduled delivery date). My husband took the boxes out and started pulling at the plastic. I yelled, HEY JUDE, LET IT BE! OH! DARLING. YOU CAN'T DO THAT. I told him I'LL BE BACK (because I read the very clear and very short instructions that accompanied our "mattress taquito") and went to get scissors. They easily slid through the plastic and the mattress unfolded. My husband was confused (since he didnt read the instructions) and began smooshing the mattress. I said, HONEY DONT. Just WAIT. Within 15 minutes the mattress was almost fully decompressed. The TWO OF US took turns trying it out. The cover was really impressive and soft to touch. The mattress felt great and held my husband and I both with no issue. I cleaned up a bit and went upstairs and an hour later I came back down and my husband is still on this mattress! I said, WHAT YOU'RE DOING is not okay. That's for the boys. He replied, I'M ONLY SLEEPING. I'M SO TIRED. All I could do was tell him GOOD NIGHT. I received NO REPLY. P.S. I LOVE YOU (Very impressed with packaging, performance, and price. I would entirely recommend this product and will actually be coming back to look at their higher end mattresses in the future.)

I bought this for my daughter (6 years old at the time) and it is surprisingly comfortable, even more so than the rather complicated mattress I bought for my bed. Soft enough for side sleepers and firm enough for back and stomach. I love sleeping on it too. I was worried 5 inches would been to thin and cause the sleeper to bottom out on the box spring but it holds us up very well. Great little mattress for a great price!

I decided to give this mattress a try because it was cheap and made of memory foam. I had only planned on using it temporarily to hold me over until I could get a much thicker and nicer mattress. Unfortunately it didn't work for me and I ended up returning it, but I think it could work for people younger and smaller than me. The mattress expanded to about 4.5 inches before I called it a day and threw it on my box frame, but it might have expanded a bit more if I had waited a full 48 hours. For context I weigh about 170 pounds, have chronic lower back pain and sleep on my back exclusively. After laying on this mattress for a while I noticed that I would create a deep depression in the middle of it that didn't really contour to my body at all, and because the mattress was a twin it also lifted off the box frame at the edges. Ultimately I would wake up with worse back pain than before I went to sleep. I think this mattress could work for kids and possibly as a mattress topper for people that like really soft beds, but if you're anything like me I would recommend looking elsewhere and getting a mattress with double the thickness as this one (and inevitably like 4 times the price, but hey).

This mattress is surprisingly comfortable for its slim profile. The gel memory foam keeps it cool through the night, and it provides just the right amount of support without feeling too firm. Perfect for guest rooms or everyday use if you prefer a lower-profile bed. Great value for the price!

Received the mattress almost a week ahead of it’s delivery date at checkout. Unboxing/unwrapping was easy and the mattress was fully expanded within 12 hours and I slept on it the same night. Let me tell you that this mattress is by far the best and worst investment I ever made. It’s the best because I have slept on it for 5 nights now and I can already notice the quality of sleep has increased exponentially. Before this mattress I rarely dreamt or I did and did not remember upon awakening. In the 5 nights I have had dreams every night that were remembered the next day very clearly. It’s like my subconscious mind is living a whole different life while I sleep. Now this mattress is the worst because it literally makes you want to stay in bed. It’s so comfy that you wake up wanting to call into work and stay in bed all day. So just be aware that. I live a free spirited lifestyle so I can easily stay in bed as long as I want but for the working lifestyle this might be a challenge you will have to overcome. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Anyway overall I highly recommend this mattress and if I get two years out of it I will be happy.

En cuanto recibí el producto tuve muchísimas dudas debido a que las dimensiones de la caja eran relativamente chicas para un colchón matrimonial. La perspectiva cambio en cuanto desempacamos el producto, comprendí que se veía chico ya qué viene doblado a la mitad por su parte más larga lo que representa un ahorro de espacio a la hora de transportarlo. Los materiales son buenísimos, de muy buena calidad y a pesar de que solo son 12cm aproximadamente de anchura total, en estás dos últimas semanas he descansado de maravilla. Literalmente solo lo tiendo en el suelo, le lanzó una sábana y un edredón para eso del frío y duermo como Oso. Page aproximadamente $1950.00 pesos con descuento y no estoy para nada arrepentimiento. Me saco de un gran apuro. Se me hace un producto muy versátil y práctico... Ultraligero pero firme lo puedes manipular tú solo sin necesidad de ayuda y colocarlo dónde más lo necesites. (Decidí no quitarle la bolsa dónde viene, ya que a veces lo tiro al suelo)

Bought this mattress for my toddler's first bed (originally transferred from a crib). I needed a low height mattress because it was for a loft bed and I couldn't be happier! There's enough room from the mattress to the top of the guard rail that I'm not nervous she will lunge herself over the side in the middle of the night. I haven't laid on the mattress for long than a couple hours, but was comfortable even though I don't prefer a firm mattress. My toddler has never had any issues sleeping and continues this same trend on this mattress. Would definitely recommend.
