Honeywell Intellisense FG-1625 Acoustic Glassbreak Sensor 25 Ft.

This is a very discreet and blends in nicely on the ceiling. I used it to replace a similar model which had been damaged during renovation.

Easy to instal and works as designed

Hammering steel next to these sensors will damage them. I had one that gave me false alarms, after I had repeatedly set off the sensor with extremely loud noise. If you must make extremely loud noise around these units, consider an ear muff or something to cover the sensor. The replacement is now working without any problems. Highly recommended, these are excellent glass break sensors!

i've had the older version of these for well over a decade and they started to false. this is my 2nd purchase and like the first one, it made a difference. just hope it works when and if we ever need it.

This is the sensor that ADT recommends for replacing wired sensors in their systems. Installation is straight forward. There are four wires to connect: V+ Red power wire V- Black wire, was G for Ground on old sensor C Yellow wire (Common) NC Blue wire Be careful not to touch the two power leads as you remove them from the old sensor and install them on the new one or you’ll blow a fuse in the alarm system control cabinet. Glad I had a spare.

If you are looking for a hardwired glassbreak this unit works great. We test them in the field with a glass break simulator and it works from the 25' as stated.

Too difficult to install No customer support

I purchased this unit to replace a defective one in my alarm system. The alarm company wanted $150 for the sensor plus installation. The installation took about 15 minutes and the unit is configurable for most alarm systems. Noise detection sensitivity is also programmable via two switches inside the unit.
