I’m currently going through treatment for an ankle impingement that makes walking painful, and i’ve been using office chairs to get around the garage and get stuff done. Naturally the 2” plastic casters most of them come with are small and get hung up on every crack and piece of debris. I just learned how to weld, so I figured I’d try to replicate one of those expensive big caster mechanic stools on the cheap. “Cheap” is compared to the alternative as I had to buy 2 4 packs to get the 5 my old steelcase required. Still though, it was a pretty simple job welding them to the base. I tried to attach them evenly but it wasn’t perfect. It doesn’t seem to matter though as despite the base sometimes spinning underneath me as I move forward, it moves WAY easier and was a stupid hilarious success. These are such an upgrade over any other chair caster i’ve tried and moving is so easy I’d recommend it to anyone who’s even considering it. They’ve held up perfectly over 3 months of daily abuse and I have no regrets. They glide over cracks and are way harder to get stuck. Maybe give it a shot if you’re relying on office chairs for mobility LOL

I had to move a 10x4 outdoor wooden shed weighing approximately 1500 pounds. The shed was set on a concrete slab and while there are many ways to lift and move a shed, I needed something that could support the weight and easily move the shed.I made custom supports out of 2x6 and 2x4 lumber which provided the anchor points for the casters to the shed. Once the shed as lifted and fully supported on the casters, it was very easy to move it around allowing easy access from behind for painting. Once the shed was in its new location and lowered to the ground, the custom supports with the casters was removed and all was good.These casters will be used again to move a slightly smaller shed in the fall. These casters easily supported the estimated 1500 pound weight and were easy to roll.

Didn't come with screws but not a big deal. I'm using bolts. Looks like good quality at a good price. I liked that they didn't have locks because I didn't want em.I've bought these 4 times so far to make dollies for heavy stuff in the garage. They're of good quality and good price. The heaviest load I have (on a set of 4) is 700 lbs and they handle it no problem. I was impressed that they came well lubricated - usually I grease such things before I put them in service.UPDATE -Here’s what happens when you push these little guys too hard. I had 700 lbs. on 4 of them. They’re rated for 1200. We were OK on a nice smooth cement floor but when I tried to horse my home-made dolly over a bump – it was more than one of them could take. So, lessons learned - if you want to play rough you need kingpinless casters and they ain’t cheap.Don’t get me wrong. I think these are good little casters at a good price. You need to know their limits.

Any product that works as it's advertised is a plus! These casters were priced fairly and do the job perfectly!

I used these as replacements on a pair of dollies I bought from Harbour Freight. The originals were not up to the task and buckled when I stacked two poplar slabs (roughly 300# each) on them so that I could set them in my woodshop to season but move them when I needed the space.The nuts & bolts were a nice extra that I didn't need, but I'll hold onto them for a future project. The casters are very smooth in operation, the fit and finish are very nice and I didn't mind the price at all.I will be buying more of these as I need them.

I installed these casters on my large toolbox in my shop. They were easy to install and are of high-quality. One thing that you will want to check is the anchoring pattern of the casters and of the toolbox to make sure that this product will line up so all fasteners can be used. Other than that, I would highly recommend this product.

A simple, but important application, heavy duty dollies. Tractor attachments are typically large, heavy and unwieldy, and they need to stow in a limited space. These casters have been used under everything from a 300 lb snow blower and hitch, to an 800 Lb ballast box.Unlike many low cost casters, these have really good bearing sets, and the upper and lower halves are closely fit. So under the heaviest load, they roll and swivel easily. Now, working by myself, I can line up the attachments so they are out of the way, and pull them out and install when needed.The poly wheel surfaces show no signs of wear from the cement floor in the garage, and the plating on all metal parts hoses off without a sign of rust. Secured to 2x6 ground treated lumber frame with 1/4-20 bolts, the dollies specifically match up with individual attachments.Based on how well they worked, I am going to get a set for a telescope dolly I am building.
