After a couple months of use, I've found the build quality and whole set design is definitely worth more then the price tag. The rachet and universal is good quality; if only the plastic case had upgraded closing clasp. The plastic to metal front & full plastic sides cause me to baby opening & closing the case. I wouldn't mind paying an extra 5 to 8 for for the needed upgrade. If their was a complete ¼ set like this one, it would be a no brainer purchase.

Perfect for what I need thanks

I am going to start of with what I like. The price. If you just take into the consideration of the extensions and the universal sockets you are already getting close to the price of competition. With this kit you are also getting both deep and shallow impact sockets. Throw in the fact that there is included torx and e-torx. Not to mention it contains both metric and SAE. For the most part this is a NO SKIP set except maybe a few e-torx that might have been skipped. As a bonus there is also 3/8 to 3/8 universal adapter and 1/2 female to 3/8 male adapter. Larger easy to read socket. Each socket is painted and easy to read the size. At one quick glance you can quickly identify the size. Strong and organized storage. The storage is case seems to be very well made and keep your sockets very neat and securely in place. The extensions. Like I said above in the price section. The selection of extensions that you receive with this is amazing. 3, 6, 10, and 15 literally almost every extension that you will ever need. Now for the dislikes. There will not be many as I have not had this set long enough to comment on reliability and there true commitment to life time guarantee. The sockets were all over the place. When I first open the case for the first time. The sockets were all mixed all over the place. Now this really has nothing to do with the overall organization of the box. It was really the fault of the shipping company and the cardboard box showed the proof of that. But once I reorganized the sockets, I shook the case, moved it around and did just about everything that I would do for normal use. The only thing I did not do was drop kick it and punt it across the room. Apparently that is what happened during shipping as everything stayed neatly in its place. Oil all over the place. Now I know that most tools are shipped with oil to prevent rust. I just figured I would put it in as I really didn't have anything else negative to say. Combined with the fact that the shipping company really did a number on the package. The oil mess was just amplified. No 1/2 in. I was really lacking on the 3/8 impact stuff which is why I purchased this. Now my 1/2 in collection is looking very slim and I will have to buy some more. However I have not been able to find a kit like this in 1/2. Hopefully they release something in the future. So to sum it up. Yes I would recommend this. Yes I would buy again ( Hopefully in 1/2 :). When I get some time as well as something to really put these to the test. I will be making a video on these. As pictures and words do not give them the justice they deserve. ( I paid full price for these and have no connection with them ) I hope that this was helpful to those of you who were on the fence about pulling the trigger on these. I was a little worried about this being a brand I didn't recognize and at a reasonable price. I decided to give them a try anyways and I don't regret it. It was exactly as advertised, came in a nice case, and seem to really be quality tools. What I didn't see anywhere in the description was that the sizes were printed on each socket so they were easy to read at a glance but also engraved with the sizes for durability and long term use. The customer service also appears great though I haven't actually had to use it. I would recommend this set.

Jaeger (TightSpot) 70-PC Socket Set. Weight is 29.5lbs! How many folks bought a set of sockets & the not is the next size or you need a deep socket, instead of the shorty? Well I decided to spend the cash & get a full set of impact sockets. I did not want a cheap case, with plastic hinges that break after 40 times of opening & closing. This case has pins in the hinges, metal clasps to lock up the front, 2 closing cheap plastic hinges & okay they are not the greatest & the side locks are not that important. All the sockets are mark in bright white. I do wished they were stamped too? Life time warranty, not a bad price ($200 with taxes)! Yes you can get cheaper, like Harbor Freight & they give a 30day warranty & you can buy a 2or3 year extended warranty. That being said & now you up to the $200 price & you only get 2or3 year warranty + the 30 day store warranty. Math is done! LIFE TIME WARRANTY & This Says it All & for the same price! This rating is Only for the Jaeger TightSpot 70 PC Socket Set, with the Life Time Warranty! I do not trust how our ratings are used with Amazon, because I found hundreds of ratings used & most are for different products. I like Honest ratings, so I can make my own judgment to buy! I hope they do not reject this rating. I did not give 5 stars, because I just opened the box up & I do not snap or crack a socket, I will come back. I like what I am seeing & feeling in my hands, so far. Ps it took 4 to 5 days to get to my home. I hope this helps?

Best set on the market

Forget "for the money", this a great socket set period. Sockets grip great and have been super tough. Even the u-joint on the Ryobi high torque (in theory 1100+ lbs ft) holds up perfectly. Highly recommend, especially given the price

Has a large variety of sizes and adapters. Sockets are solid as well. I only just now ran into a situation where I don’t have one big enough. I believe I need a 36.
