anyone got tissues 😭😭
This was a more definite tearjerker in the series for me. Josh & Delia had to withstand a lot of punches throughout their friendship and later on their “relationship”.Corrine knows what’s she’s doing is all I gotta say.

Heartbreaking
The 3rd installment of the Willow Creek series is centered around Delia and Joshua. It is a story about unrequited love and some serious heartache. I enjoyed the idea of the story I'm sure nearly everyone can relate to unrequited love in some way. Delia has loved Joshua since they first met. She is a big part in the Pakerson family being best friends with Alex so the feelings she develops for Joshua were hard to pack away. The events that unfolded in this story were absolutely gut wrenching. There is so much devastation it was heartbreaking. I enjoyed the conclusion to the story and the set up for the next book which I'm very excited for. I personally would have liked to see more romance from Josh and Delia. We get told that she has loved him forever but we don't really see it. There is one flashback to when they met and that's it. They are both so serious and tbh I wanted to bang their heads together most the time. The relationship was messed up from the get go. It was nice to see a relationship starting in a different way to most but I would like a bit more romance. To me if felt like the majority of this story was more about sex then love. That all being said I did enjoy the story and there was enough angst and drama that it held my interest.

Grab the tissues.
I've struggled with rating and reviewing this book. I absolutely loved the concept and the story but the time transitioning in this book wasn't clearly indicated and it sort of kept me off balance for at least half the book and kept taking me out of the story. This book tackles some heavy issues that will get you right in the feels, but unfortunately for me it didn't have enough of a relationship building on the banter and flirty-side of things, so as to balance all they heavy stuff. The characters weren't given enough room to breath and evolve as a couple. Individually, their journeys were both beautiful and heartbreaking, and I loved their chemistry during the sexy times but I simply couldn't connect with Delia and some of Josh's actions were too immature for someone who stepped in as a father figure for his younger siblings at a young age.I love this author because every time I open up one of her books, I know I'm going to be hit with all the feels and meaningful connections and scorching hot sexy times. And I can't wait for the final book in the series featuring Oliver.

OUTSTANDING
Wow, this was my favourite from this series so far and I have loved the other books.I have loved Delia in previous books and been intrigued with her feelings/relationship with Josh. Corinne certainly didn’t disappoint me with how beautiful their story was. It was filled with so much heart and emotion.Once you start this you will be completely hooked. You may need tissues and some wine afterward to help you get over this rollercoaster that is Josh and Delia.Does has loved Josh for most of her life but thought he was beyond her reach. She never knew that he had feelings for her until one night their chemistry is too hot to deny anymore and they end up together for one night, no strings, no promises. As you can guess that goes well and lines start getting blurred and crossed.Well done Corinne on such a beautiful flawless story that was filed with heart, emotion, family, love and finding true happiness.I loved this story so much that I am now listening to is on audible and it’s even better.

Josua was everything I hoped he would be
If you read the first book in the series, then I think we all knew that Joshua had a story to tell, as the oldest of the Parkerson Clan as soon as he returned to Willow Creek the sparks were flying, Delia has loved Joshua since she was a kid, best friends with his younger sister they have known each other forever, but the Parkerson's had a torrid relationship with their father, hence they decided to get together and open their own hotel in Willow Creek, now the brothers are back together but there have been many twists and turns as they start this new journey together.Joshua has tried to keep his distance from Delia, his heart is firmly encased in a wall of stone, but whether he likes it or not Delia is slowly chipping out that wall. Just as Delia decides to forget about Joshua and try and get on with her life, he keeps popping up into her personnel space.Believe me, this couple's story is turbulent, it is hot and it will tear you inside out before it puts you back together again. One not to miss.

❤️🩹Raw and Intense❤️🩹
This author says that Delia and Joshua’s story took a turn she wasn’t expecting….well having read a lot of her books, I’m no stranger to the unexpected where Ms Michael’s is concerned and this one certainly went there!!!Delia is a beautiful, carefree fun loving girl with a huge heart and an amazing amount of spirit…I loved her honesty and her need for absolute truth.Josh is the eldest Parkerson and feels the pressure. Always there for his siblings, he is strong and steadfast but determined to deny himself the one thing he privately craves the most….love.This story is wonderful in its conclusion but my goodness the journey to it is raw and heartbreaking. While this can be read as a stand-alone I would strongly advise you read all the sibling stories…I love all the characters in this series and it’s great that they all feature throughout the books…..the hint for the next story was very intriguing and I can’t wait for it!!
