My absolute favorite conditioner for many years. The only kind I use so I buy it in bulk. I use it in the shower and as a leave-in conditioner.First important thing: I’m sensitive to musky scents that are used in many cosmetics and hair products—they give me headaches and stuffed sinuses. But this product doesn’t have any musky scent.Second important thing: this conditioner has what I call “slip,” meaning it has ingredients that make the hair slippery when it’s applied. This is critical for my hair because I’m Black-White biracial and my hair grows in corkscrews that get easily tangled. When I apply generous amounts of this conditioner, I can easily detangle my hair by finger combing it in the shower since it has good slip and no friction so my fingers slide through.I add a little hair oil to my bottles since Black hair tends to be dry and the oil helps to stop breakage.I hope TRESemmé never stops making their Flawless Curls conditioner and never changes the recipe because I’ve tried a million Black hair conditioners and always come right back to this one.TRESemmé probably has no idea they created a really good Black/biracial hair product, but they should start marketing it this way because we Black folks shell out a lot of money on hair products!
