VAX04101A HDMI eARC Pass Switch 4x1 for 3 HDMI Sources, Soundbar and TV Projectors 4K HDR Dolby Atmos

Running this with a Sonos arc, Sony Arc TV, freesat and 4K bluray. It was a toss up between this and the slightly more expensive HD Fury Arcana. Decided to give this one a punt, and absolutely delighted with it. Quick shipping to UK from amazon eu It works perfectly for all of my devices, and no lip synching issues. Auto detects the last switched on device and audio format - so only need to use the remote if you wish to switch inputs following that. Early versions apparerently had some firmware issues, but this all seems to be ironed out now - plus they added the ability to update firmware on the device itself in the unlikely event it will need further updates. It's also tiny, the images had me thinking it would be much bigger than it is. Running it from a usb 3 socket to dc instead of the adaptor that came with it just for a bit more convenience. Only thing as others have mentioned is the led's are very bright, so you may want to pop some led cover stickers or similar on to tame the intensity.

We purchased this to solve a lipsync issue between our ARC TV and eARC soundbar. It’s a well made product and the customer support was excellent but in the end we had to return it. It actually solved the lipsync problem well but there were some compatibility issues with it in the system. HDR content would drop out visually and sonically at intervals and the tv would often revert back to internal speaker output causing havoc with the soundbar volume. Feintech advised that our Sky satellite box has known unconventional HDR and ARC protocols and this was likely upsetting the VAX. We have no reason to doubt this, from the open and helpful support from Feintech. Also note this is actually a small (but weighty) box and the writing on the front is small. Rated three stars, despite good quality and support, clearly not compatible or stable in all set-ups.

Stopped working after 6 months. It won’t power on no more

Need it to split the audio with my Sonos beam 2 connecting to PC. Does as advertised provides Dolby Atmos passthrough.

Mijn oude Pioneer plasma Kuro heeft geen HDMI/eArc poort. Met deze feintech is het heel makkelijk om een Apple TV aan te sluiten op de Sonos Arc en de Pioneer tv. Alleen lukt het niet om te switchen tussen de Apple TV en de Pioneer Blu-ray. Dan geeft de tv een knipperen blauw lampje en moet ik de tv eerst enkele minuten uit trekken om dan weer in te steken en met de afstandsbediening uit en aan te zetten. Ik heb de auto switch voor het signaal uitgezet want als een andere signaalbron uit staat, kiest de splitter het HDMI 1 kanaal van de soundbar en krijg je witte golven op scherm.

Was für ein tolles Gerät! Ich hatte das Problem, dass mein leicht angejahrter LG C1 OLED-TV und meine neue LG-Soundbar nicht so recht zueinander gefunden haben: über den eARC-Ausgang des TV wurde nie Dolby Atmos an die Soundbar weitergeleitet, sondern nur Stereo, teilweise sogar nur ein Mono-Downmix - trotz aller möglichen Einstellungen am TV, diverser neuer Kabel und Verkabelungsvarianten und intensiver Web-Recherche. Zudem wurde die Soundbar, damit eARC überhaupt funktioniert, quasi zwangsweise über die TV-Fernbedienung mitgesteuert. Eigentlich bequem, aber dies wiederum hat dann verhindert, diverse Einstellungen an der Soundbar direkt über die LG-ThinQ-App vornehmen zu können. Ich habe mich daher entschlossen, Fernseher und Soundbar steuerungsmäßig wieder komplett zu trennen und über dieses Gerät von Feintech Ton und Bild voneinander zu splitten. Am Feintech hängen nun Apple TV, Nintendo Switch und Sky-Box und liefern das Bild an den TV (alles liegt dann auf einem Eingang am TV, in meinem Fall HDMI 1). Der Sound geht aus der Box direkt an die Soundbar - und es klappt WUNDERBAR. Wenn die Quelle es hergibt, hab ich feinen Dolby-Atmos-Sound. Und das i-Tüpfelchen: Die Steuerung (Kanalumschaltung, Soundformat etc.) funktioniert sogar mit meiner Harmony-Fernbedienung, da das Feintech-Teil dort tatsächlich in der Datenbank ist. Und in der LG-App hab ich jetzt wieder volle Kontrolle über die Soundbar. Die Verarbeitung scheint mir hochwertig, das Teil ist viel kleiner als gedacht, aber auch viel schwerer als gedacht (was gut ist!) - kleine Gummifüßchen zum Ankleben liegen bei, damit steht es auch bei widerspenstigen HDMI-Kabeln rutschfest. Wenn man klitzekleine Kritikpunkte anbringen möchte, habe ich zwei: 1. Das Gerät hat keinen Ein-/Ausschalter, es ist also immer an - sollte aber recht wenig Strom ziehen. 2. Die LEDs an der Vorderseite lassen sich nicht abschalten und sind recht hell - wenn man also keine Möglichkeit hat, das Gerät im Schrank zu verstecken (was ich kann), ist es trotz seiner geringen Größe immer optisch präsent. Fazit: Volle Empfehlung für alle, die Probleme damit haben, per eARC den richtigen Sound vom TV an die Soundbar zu bringen.

Usato per avere la porta Arc a disposizione della soundbar visto che il proiettore è lontano ho collegato all' entrata un hdmi repeater che trasmette il segnale al proiettore la soundbar alla porta Arc, Sky stream e un Google box alle altre 2 porte HDMI funziona benissimo fa il suo lavoro in maniera egregia e moltiplica le porte HDMI

Excellent adaptateur, permet à une télévision non compatible ARC ni EARC de se connecter à une barre de son qui ne supporte que ces formats. L’installation est fastidieuse mais une fois réalisée il devient facile de gérer ses différents appareils hdmi. Je recommande vivement si votre tv n’a pas de port ARC ou EARC.
