This product produces high quality, true-to-life color photos. It is very convenient to load the ink cartridge and paper into your printer and it only takes about a minute or so per print. The convenience can't be beat (versus taking the time to bring your memory card/stick or emailing the digital images you want to be developed to an outide processor. Keep in mind that while the Sony SVM-75LS Ink and Paper Value Pack represents a good value, it still is usually more expensive than using an outside vendor. I have been using the Sony printer paper for years. I also had an HP photo printer and while the pictures were nice, the ink dried up too quick. Using the Sony printer is far superior because the photo paper comes with a photo cartrige that you change with each pack of paper you open. Although I do not print a lot of pictures, the cartridges do not go bad sitting on my shelf and the print quality of the pictures is awesome. I have never had a picture fade with this system.

I always get this type of paper to print my pictures from my Sony Cybershot Digital Camera. But this time when I tried to print my pictures the paper kept getting stuck and jamming the printer. I looked on the expiration date and it was for "2008 2". Mind you, I brought the film in September 2008. I opened another pack just to see if it was the film and not the printer and the same thing happened. The paper kept jamming the printer and not coming completely out.BEWARE--if you buy this product please check the expiration date. Unfortunately, I didn't open it until October, but it still should have been in excellent condition.

Bought one of these from Amazon recently as I cant find these anywhere and John's Bargains had them at a reasonable price (by today's standards - guess it's a matter of supply and demand). Sony stopped making these years ago but the cartridges worked great despite their age. Cost per print is high but if you're a stickler for quality then this is the way to go. Also prices on Amazon seems to fluctuate up and down. We had an Epson picturemate but the images were grainy,sometimes had lines in them and the Epson cartridges never yielded the number of prints it was supposed to and the inkjet nozzles always got clogged -- never an issue with my Sony EX50 which is a thermal printer bought nearly 10 years ago.. My cartridge value pack arrived fast and just in time to print our Christmas pictures. I only hope my printer lasts long enough to use all the packs we bought.

I bought this from Amazon simply because it was a better deal and Amazon can be trusted.Sony SVM-75LS Ink and Paper Value Pack is a good choice over the 25LS because there are 3 times more paper and the price is relatively lower. I have been using this printer and paper pack from over 2 years. I find the combination satisfactory as far as having your own photo lab at home. You print the lab quality dye-sublimation printing at home which lasts years more compared to the inkjet printing.

As has been the case in the past, the speed isn't great, but the quality is excellent--although I recently have experienced a few pictures with a small inexplicable blotch.I love printing at home so I don't have to deal with what the Kodak or Fuji machines assume I meant to do, something that often leaves me with photos that are almost always clipped, too dark, too saturated, and too sharp. The printed Sony pictures at home are much closer to the images on my monitor but come at a price almost three times what I pay at Target or Wal-Mart.

One ribbon cartridge had been opened and taped shut.One paper pack had been opened and then mixed with other types of paper.I had to sort and shuffle the paper to make it a standard kit.The printing from the tampered packaging was perfect. There were no side effects from the tampering on the quality of the printing.In general, I rate the product as 5 stars. The one star rating is for defective packaging of moisture sensitive media.
