Alright, I know what you're thinking. Mancave addition, this guy can't be serious.. Yes Indeed I am 120% Serious. In fact I am so serious I had to buy another one of these off Ebay so I could piece the two together to make it bigger. I get my 3 buddies together on weekends and we have some drinks while playing. I've honestly got every bot that's been created to this date and it's a load of chaos. The entire time we'll be screaming and smashing into each other to play for things like shots or even watches that we bring. The two bots that come with the arena are quite impressive. The Build your own bot isn't the best by any means but if you actually get into these hexbugs- look at some more of the BYOBs they offer to increase your playability with friends. I have 4 Custom bots along with all the attachments. It is honestly refreshing to have the capabilities of swapping out weapons and armor just to enjoy the same machine in a different form. I honestly can't recomend this purchase enough for guys who have 1-3 friends who are just looking for a reason to drink or shout.

Very fun! The robots that come with this set are double A battery operated, and they STINK! Do yourself a favor and get the platinum battle bots, they are rechargeable and much more powerful. The robots do have a small reaction delay due to the conroller connection probably having too small of an antenna. These robots really fall apart but have magnetic connections to rebuild and destroy again, the kids are having a blast! The only thing that could make it better is if HexBug gives more platinum battlebot options and upgraded contoller option because it could be better.

The pieces can be a tad tricky to connect but they stay on rather well once lined up. Overall this is a blast for any battlebots fans, just note that the build your own doesn't stand a chance so you'll probably want additional bots. The remotes will take some getting used to, once you've figured the steering out you'll go wild.

I have an 8 year old and we love this some of the bot pieces are a little janky to re connect and keep on but all and all alot of fun for the kids

It’s a great arena for using battle bot fights. It is a little time consuming to put it together and we left it together because of the plastic to pull them apart. I don’t think it would be a sturdy. The instructions are a little confusing, especially how to change channels on the BattleBots when you buy more than the two they give you hi granddaughter and grandson loves playing with him.

I bought this for my 9 year old son who plays with his friends and his teenage brother. They have a great time playing together, one of the best toys for Christmas. They added 2 more bots from another set which makes things very interesting when playing with 4 people. Bots work great and are very easy t o control. Our only criticism is that the batteries in the remote were very weak when we opened the game on Christmas day. Replacing them with fresh batteries made all the difference. Highly recommend.

Tombstone does not work at all! Remotes do not pair no matter what, so after one minute of play the bots stop dead in their tracks. One hammer broke 10 minutes after play, and my kid and his dad are not rough. Very cheap plastic. It was my son’s birthday present and he stayed strong but after a while went to his room weeping. My heart breaks. Awful toy! Not giftable! Not sure why reviews are not much worse. Returning.

There were a few parts that did not work. Had to call support a few times to get them fixed

So disappointed with this set; flimsy cheap plastic and the 'play' balance is skewed towards Tombstone smashing the cr2p out of the other bot, whose tracks keep falling off and has poor accessories. all the kids would do is fight each other to see who got Tombstone...they're supposed to take it out VIA the bots...not BECAUSE of them...
