Steel Classics Mighty Crane - Made with Steel & Sturdy Plastic, Yellow Toy Construction Truck, Boys and Girls, Kids, Toddlers, Ages 3+

The usual Tonka quality, made of metal except the arm for the bucket is made of plastic — It seems like tough plastic, but still plastic on a part that could break off. So far, it’s good. We’ll see how it ensures!

Grandson loves it

The cab was steel but the rest was plastic. I do see a failure in the plastic locking mechanism coming in the future. Kind of disappointed in Tonka for this.

Good old Tonka. Same quality and toughness from when I had Tonka decades ago. Metal, not plastic. If I could improve one thing, the string and pulley on the bucket seemed a cheesy compared to the quality of the unit as a whole.

I'm guessing you can't buy the ALL steel Tonka toys anymore. It was partially steel and the rest was plastic. So far it's holding up. Size was good. The string for the arm is a little wonky and will likely need to be replaced but for now it's working good.

I love the steel construction meant to hold up to years of play through generations. They are the collection that you save and pass down, they are that well made. They came in a strong box and then boxed inside yet another box to prevent scratches on any part of the toy. The plastic parts were not faded or discolored and all the seams were well connected and welded. They hold up to many hours of rough and tumble play and still look wonderful.

Ended up getting 3 of these for our 3 kids (santa present). They work well and easy to use even for 3y olds. They are good quality, but the I have had to fix the the loop the string is tied to once and tie better knots on all 3 of our “crane truck digger trucks”. The only other negative is when the scope is filled with sand and the crane hanging off the side (not front) it will tip over.I would buy these again in a heartbeat. They work very well in sand and my kids could play with these on the beach ALL day long even when it’s freezing and they’re shaking from being cold.

Plays great with the kids

Got this for my 4yo for christmas as he asked for construction toys. Every single one I saw was remote controlled which I did not want. This Tonka one allows my child to play more hands on without the need of electronics. He gets to explore all different parts of this mighty crane. It gets pushed, rolled and loaded all day. My sons 18m old brother also loves playing with it. Its massive and fun as well as ideal for any imaginative play. My toddler plays with his doll house and my older boy comes along with the crane to transport the furniture, deliver pizza with the crane or give people a lift. Its built extremely well and sturdy.My boy even said this is his favourite Christmas present. The other day he helped his father who works in construction and felt really proud passing him the screws with his crane toy. Honestly well worth it and we‘ll be buying more from Tonka to add to his collection

La grúa está muy bien, mi peque la adora y le encanta. Por ponerle una pega el gancho que lleva pesa demasiado y la grúa en cuanto coges algo se vuelca. Pero es de material resistente, incluso la hemos metido en el mar y ahí sigue como el primer día. Buena compra

Everything I'd expected it to be regarding quality and functionality. More importantly we have a very happy grandson.

Fun was had by little grandson and big granddad.
