Good gloves.
Hopefully the pic helps someone with sizing. I ordered XS and Small. I’ll keep both cause they’re reasonably priced, warm & we always need extra gloves on hand (no pun intended)😂.

U.P. Michigan mom recommends! Durable and warm!
I bought two pairs of these at the end of last winter for my boys who are very rough on winter gear. We also live in far northern MI where winters are harsh and COLD. We had about 6 weeks of use out of them and I was pleased to be able to put them into storage for the next cold season. One survived very well, the other did not, but only because my kid was a savage and chewed through the thumb (I am reordering to replace it for 19-20 winter). They keep their hands warm, and are decently water resistant. They wash/dry well also. I would highly recommend these! Beware of sizes..the chart doesnt line up with my kids hands so here's what we got (bottom of palm to finger tip): my 5 year old boy fits in the small with a 5.25" hand. My 6/7 year old boy fits the medium with a 6" hand. With that, my 5 year old can easily wear the medium also.. My 7 year old has put his little bros glove on and its tight, but not impossible. The biggest difference seems to be with how wide the glove is.

Kindergartener can get these on and off without help
I'm very happy with this purchase, and I'm glad I bought two pairs. I've been looking for a needle in a haystack: mittens that cover my son's wrists but can be put on independently at school. When we're home we use other mittens that stop the snow but require adult help to put on. Other mittens that my 6-year-old could put on by himself were letting the snow get on his wrists. These ski mittens don't have as much coverage as the hard-core mittens we use at home, but they do surprisingly well and have ended our quest for a good "school mitten."

Runs big
Ran very large for my 4 year old. She’s typically a 4-5t, these gloves are definitely for kids on the larger side for their age in my opinion. I know boys have larger hands as well so that’s a factor in the unisex sizing. There was about 1.5” or more of space between her fingers and the edge of the glove. I don’t think she would have been able to grab snow or do much in them. Sizing down.

Great on the 5 year old, but HUGE on the intended 2 year old
I bought the medium for my 5 year old and extra small for my 2 year old. The XS fits the 5 year old, the M hasn't arrived yet but I'm foreseeing they'll be huge with how the XS went. Keeping the XS for her and ordering someone else's smaller gloves for him now. I did follow the size chart.

Good quality up to around -20c
Good gloves. Not fabulous in -20 but with inner gloves they are fine. Have held up to a 7 year olds rough play quite well. and still look good!
