Part was missing
The part that the Allen key goes into was missing. I was on the road traveling for work, by the time I got home and found out it was unusable the return period had ended. Contact them once and got a bit of the runaround.

Highly Recommend for SodaStream users.
These things are awesome for those that don't want to pay SodaStream's crazy prices for replacement CO2 canisters. Buy this along with a couple of 24oz paint ball canisters and never worry about trying to find the right size of overpriced SodaStream canister. Sure it's a bit of an upfront cost, but in the end you'll end up saving by being able to refill the paint ball canister at your local sporting goods store for less than $5 (especially if you're a heavy user). Highly recommend this for avid SodaStream users.

Go with a different adapter
The adjustment screw constantly backs itself out and I have to adjust it after every 4-5 uses. It burns through my CO2 super fast too.

Great Money Saver
Love the sodastream, love the adapter even more. Bought an empty co2 canister at Academy Sports for $20.00. Had the canister filled for $3.50.Sodastream retailer wants $15.00 plus the empty canister. Adapter will pay for itself in no time. Thanks for the invention. Found that I needed to make sure the CO2 is food grade. Changed from Academy to Air-Gas for my refills. Still saving money!!! Also, order coca cola syrup from syrupsupply.com.

Well made, saves money, works on most paintball canisters... but expensive.
This adapter works perfectly on my 20oz paintball canister. The instructions (and Youtube video) are clear and precise and the setup/installation of this adapter on your paintball canister is very easy. My soda stream can take the larger 24oz refills, so I got a 20oz paintball canister and am able to refill them for $5. The only reason I am taking away one star is the insane price of this adapter. Yes, it is well made; however, the only reason the seller is able to maintain this price is because (as far as I am aware) he is the only one offering this product. Having said that, I certainly do recommend this product. One caveat that has nothing to do with the quality of this product: Here is S. California, when purchasing CO2 refills, I noticed several stores will now ask if you intend to use the CO2 for a paintball gun or a soda stream. If you say you want to use it for your soda stream, they will either (a) charge you significantly more, or (b) refuse to refill your canister. I do not believe they use a different source for the CO2 if you are refilling it for your soda stream.

Insanely well made
When I found this item, I was originally a bit offput by its price. Brass pipe thread adapters are like five bucks. The SodaStream has a proprietary threading, but that doesn't seem in and of itself to be an impossible task. But then, pipe adapters usually go on once and get some seal or solder. This will have to screw on, screw off, every time, for years and not leak. There is zero question of this holding up. It's not cast, but rather machined out of one solid piece of brass (with the exception of the center pin, which moves), and is built like a tank. I imagine it weighs about half a pound. There must be 30 cuts it in, and they're all flawless. Too bad it'll never show, as it's really quite impressive. (BTW, there are two photos listed. Mine is like the second, not the first that has the gnurled part.)

SodaMod CO2 Adapter
Makes standard paint ball CO2 cylinders fit SodaStream Machines. Works great. No problems with hookup and cheap to refill paint ball cylinder locally instead of exchanging for another SodaStream cylinder at a cost of $25 - $50 dollars. Paint ball refills are $5.00 at Dick's and cheaper at Hardware and other stores. Very highly recommended.
